Wunderschönes Wetter, strahlender Sonnenschein und Stoffe im Überfluss, herrlich.
Das war Wiesbaden am Sonntag. Da der Stoffmarkt in Frankfurt erst im Juni stattfindet, was ich absolut nicht verstehe, noch weniger verstehe ich, dass er gar nicht in Offenbach stattfindet, was soll denn das, bin ich mit meiner Mutter und Hund am Sonntag nach Wiesbaden gefahren. Gleich am Anfang habe ich fast die Hälfte des Geldes für Kurzwaren ausgegeben, Garnrollen (Ovikonen diemal, halten viel länger, muss mir nur noch eine Konstruktion dafür bauen), Nähnadeln, Gurtband, Karabiner und D-Ringe. Dann habe ich ein paar Stöffchen gekauft, Kunstleder, grauen Wollfilz, der bereits vernäht ist, und Jersey, um mich am Unterwäschenähen zu probieren.
Eine riesige Ausbeute, die Stoffe sind bereits gewaschen und trocknen auf dem Balkon.
Auch meine Mutter ist fündig geworden und hat vier Stoffe für Kleider und Blusen ergattert.
Dem Hund gefiel es wohl eher nicht, es waren hunderte, vielleicht sogar tausende von Leuten da, auch mit vielen anderen Hunden. Nächstesmal werde ich versuchen noch früher als 11 da zu sein, vielleicht um 10 Uhr?? Da sollte es nicht ganz so heftig ausfallen.

That was Wiesbaden on Sunday. As the fabric market in Frankfurt doesn't take place before June, what I absolutely don't understand, much less I understand why there won't be any fabric market in Offenbach, what`s that all about, well so my mother. the dog and I went to Wiesbaden. Right at the the start I spent most of my money on haberdashery, spools of thread (huge ones,actually for the overlock, I will have to make some kind of construction), sewing needles, web belts, carabiner and d-rings. Of course I also bought some nice fabrics, faux leather, grey wool felt, which I have already made into something, and jersey for my first approaches in lingerie.
A huge yield, the fabric have already been washed and are drying on the balcony.
My mothr also found some fabrics for herself to make some dresses and blouses.
The dog didn't really like it, far too many people, hundreds, maybe thousands?? also with a few dogs. Next time I think I have to go even earlier than 11 o'clock, maybe at 10? Then there shouldn't be too many people there.
