Eine kurze Information für alle Videoenthusiasten: das Videoschnittprogramm Lightworks der Firma editShare ist jetzt als “public beta” verfügbar. Die Nutzung ist daher kostenlos und wird es auch langfristig bleiben! Ob das Programm etwas taugt, sollte man am besten den Cutter Tariq Anwar fragen, der mit Lightworks erst vor kurzem den Film “The King’s Speech” geschnitten hat.

Ich werde Lightworks auf jeden Fall testen und berichten. Seit wir die Canon 5D Mark II besitzen, wollten wir schon immer mal einen Kurzfilm machen. Inzwischen zeigen auch Fotografen wie Chase Jarvis und Vincent Laforet, dass man die Videofunktionen der neuen Spiegelreflexkameras für grandiose Aufnahmen nutzen kann. Und wenn schon Folgen der Serien 24 und Dr. House damit gedreht werden, kann die Bildqualität ja nicht so schlecht sein.
