Das Drucken mit der Gelli Plate macht mir unheimlich viel Spaß, das bedeutet natürlich auch, dass die Papiere sich so langsam stapeln. Vor allem aber die Reste von schon verwendeten Prints. Deshalb möchte ich Euch heute zeigen wie ich dieses Mini Journal gemacht habe.

Die Reste schneidet Ihr alle auf dieselbe Größe und falzt sie mittig.
Cut all the paper down to the same size.
Anschließend könnt er sie Rücken an Rücken kleben. Dadurch habt Ihr im Handumdrehen ein kleines Büchlein.
Use the "Back-to-back" binding to end up with a little book.
Für das Cover hab ich mir einen extra Druck gemacht. Verwendet hab ich dazu die ATC Hintergrund Schablone von Joy!Crafts. Das Cover schneide ich passend zu (die Höhe bleibt gleich, die Länge muss natürlich etwas größer sein) und ergänze noch einige Stempelabdrücke mit den Wörtern "make art". Der Stempel ist von Rubber Dance.
The only thing you need is a cover. I made an extra print for the cover using a Joy!Crafts stencil. I use the same height for the cover as for my pages. But it needs to be a little longer. That depends on the thickness of your book. I adhered the front to my pages and meassured how long it has to be. I add the words "make art". This stamp is from Rubber Dance.
Damit sich das Buch ordentlich auf- und zuklappen lässt klebt Ihr zuerst die Front auf.
After you adhered the front you can adhere the back.
Anschließend biegt Ihr das Cover um den Falz und klebt die Rückseite bündig. Auf den Buchrücken dürft Ihr auf keinen Fall Kleber geben. Dann funktioniert das Auf- und Zuklappen nicht mehr gut.
Make sure not to adhere the cover to your spine!
Damit es schön zu bleibt verwende ich zum Schließen einen simplen Gummi. Das sieht dann so aus:
I use a rubber band for the closure.
Die Enden des Gummis tacker ich zusammen. Ich tacker Ihn nicht am Buch fest!
I tie the ends of the rubber band with a staple gun. But I don't cramp it to the back of my book!
Fertig ist das Mini Buch und einige Eurer Reste sind endlich verbraucht!
