Rückkehr der Weiblichkeit: Petticoats, Bleistiftröcke & Cocktailkleider.
Nach harten Jahres des Krieges, Verlusts und Verzichts wollten die Frauen in den 1950ern optimistisch nach vorne blicken und nahmen sich amerikanische Schauspielerinnen wie Marilyn Monroe oder Brigit Bardot zum modischen Vorbild. Eine Rückkehr zur Weiblichkeit, zur "Grand Dame" war der wichtigste Trend in den 50ern. Enge Bleistiftröcke, taillierte Kostüme, Petticoats und Cocktailkleider halfen den Frauen einen Teil ihrer Weiblichkeit zurück zu erlangen. Und auch ich lasse mich modisch immer wieder gerne von dieser Epoche inspirieren. Denn in einem schönen Cocktailkleid oder eleganten Bleistiftrock mit farblich passenden Accessoires fühlt man sich tatsächlich sofort viel weiblicher und ein bißchen wie Grace Kelly :-) ... - Wie geht es Euch mit den Outfits der 50er? After difficult years of war, last & waiver, women in the 1950ies wanted to look forward optimistically and took american actresses like Marilyn Monroe and Brigit Bardot as their fashion role models. So the return to femininity, to a "grand dame" was most important trend in the 50ies. Tight pencil skirts, waisted costumes, petticoats & cocktail dresses helped women to win back a part of their femininity. And also I'm again and again inspired fashionably by these period. Cause in lovely cocktail dresses or chic pencil skirts with color matching accessories you feel yourself really more feminine and a little bit like Grace Kelly :-) ... - What do you think about outfits inspired by the 50ies?
