Herzlich Willkommen in einer neuen Woche, Ihr Lieben!
Kennt Ihr das – es gibt so Tage, da passiert eigentlich nicht viel, aber trotzdem ist man abends total erschlagen, einfach nur müde und ausgelaugt von dem ganz normalen Alltagswahnsinn…
Und dann gibt es Tage, da steht man früh auf, ist den ganzen Tag auf den Beinen und nonstop auf Empfang, fällt erst spät abends ins Bett, aber das mit einem Lächeln und total beseelt…
So ging es mir am Samstag! Ich war nämlich auf der Book Launch Party und dem Blogger Meeting, das Holly Becker von decor8 zusammen mit der Brigitte in Berlin veranstaltet hat. In einem Anfall von Übermut und Reiselust hatte ich spontan meine Meilen auf den Kopf gehauen und bin Samstag morgen nach Berlin geflogen! Yeah – ein Tag kinderfrei! 
Nach ein paar Stunden Bummeln in Mitte (viiiiiiel zu kurz), ging es dann ins Soho House, wo die Veranstaltung stattfinden sollte.
WOW kann ich nur sagen! Die Location war WOW, die Vorträge waren WOW und die Leute waren WOW! Ich hatte vorher ziemlichen Bammel, da ich ja keinen dort kannte – wenn überhaupt, dann nur aus dem Netz – und so ein Raum voller toller Frauen kann ja ganz schön einschüchternd sein. Aber zum Glück war es dann überhaupt nicht so. Die liebe Steffi von Ohhhmhhh, die das ganze ja mit Holly und dem Brigitte-Team organisiert hat, hatte mir vorher schon Mut gemacht und es war wirklich ganz einfach nur schön, endlich Gesichter zu vielen Namen zu sehen, die man irgendwie schon so lange kennt, aber eben noch nie getroffen hat (wie Nic von Luzia Pimpinella, Catherine von Hyggelig, Dolores vom Kleinformat, Ricarda von 23qm Stil und und und) Außerdem hab ich einige tolle Mädels neu kennengelernt, wie Nadine von The Design Notebook (die auch unten mit mir auf dem Foto ist), Tony von Behind the Gorilla oder Anna von Anna Sterntaler!
Neben dem Quatschen, Austauschen und Cupcakes essen, gab’s ja auch noch Vorträge 
Holly hat erst berichtet, wie das alles für sie anfing mit dem Bloggen, Schreiben und wie sie geworden ist, was sie heute ist (eine Bestseller Autorin!!!). Sie hat das alles bestimmt schon 100, wenn nicht 1000 mal erzählt, aber ich muss sagen, man mag ihr einfach zuhören! Sie erzählt das alles ganz wunderbar erfrischend und authentisch. Und was ich toll finde ist, dass sie so bereitwillig ihre Erfahrungen teilt und jeden Blogger wirklich als Teil einer Community und nicht als Konkurrenz sieht! Absolut inspirierend!
Weiter gings mit der super-symphatischen (yep!) Steffi von Ohhhmhhh, die uns erzählt hat, was die Brigitte bereits alles so zusammen mit Bloggern auf die Beine stellt. Kennt Ihr die Weihnachtsbloggerei schon oder den Food Blog Award? Schaut mal dringend vorbei, ganz toll! Im nächsten Jahr soll es weitergehen mit neuen Veranstaltungen und Ideen, yay! Außerdem hat sie ein bisschen erzählt, was man tun sollte, um als Blogger eine Chance zu haben in einer Zeitschrift zu erscheinen! Haha, mal gucken ob’s gelingt… 
Zum Abschluss hat dann noch Caroline Ditting vom Callwey Buchverlag aus ihrem Verlagsalltag geplaudert und last but not least hat Matt Stinchcomb von Etsy uns alle mit seinem Gutelaune-Vortrag um den Finger gewickelt!
Was für ein genialer Tag! Der einzige Nachteil war, dass ich leider nicht genug Zeit hatte und ich gerne noch mit viel mehr Leuten geredet hätte! Hoffentlich beim nächsten mal!

PS : Und danke an alle, die etwas zur wunderbaren Goodie Bag beigesteuert haben. Hatte im Flugzeug viel Spaß beim Auspacken und die Frau neben mir guckte schon ganz neidisch auf all die feinen Sachen, die da zum Vorschein kamen!

Welcome to a new week everybody!
Do you know this – some days not much happens and still in the evening you are totally exhausted, simply tired and worn out by the everyday craziness…
And then you have days, where you get up very early, run around all day, talking and listening nonstop, going to bed very late – and still – you do it with a smile and totally love it…
That’s what happened to me on Saturday! Because I went to the Book Launch Party and Blogger Meeting, that Holly Becker from decor8 organized together with the Brigitte magazine in Berlin.
In a rush of high spirits and wanderlust I took all my Lufthansa miles and flew to Berlin on Saturday morning. Yeah – one day without kids! 
After a couple of hours of shopping in Berlin Mitte (still not enough) I went to the Soho House where the event took place.
And all I can say is WOW! The location was WOW, the presentations were WOW and all the other people were WOW! I was very nervous in advance because I didn’t know anybody – only online if at all – and such a room full of great women can be very intimidating! But luckily it wasn’t at all! Lovely Steffi from Ohhhmhhh,who organized everything together with Holly and the Brigitte-Team cheered me up beforehand and it really was simply nice to finally have faces to many names that I’ve known for a long time but just hadn’t met in person yet (like Nic from Luzia Pimpinella, Catherine from Hyggelig, Dolores from Kleinformat, Ricarda from 23qm Stil etc etc etc). And I met some new lovely ladies like Nadine from The Design Notebook (who is on the balloon picture with me above), Tony from Behind the Gorilla or Anna von Anna Sterntaler!
Besides talking, laughing and eating cupcakes there were also some presentations 
. Holly started of by telling us how everything got started for her with blogging, writing and how she ended up being what she is today (a best selling author!!!). She must have told all this a 100 if not 1000 times, but still you just love to listen to her! She talks about all this so naturally and authentic. And what I also love is that she shares her experiences so willingly and really sees every blogger as part of a community and not as competition. Very inspiring indeed!
After that super-nice (yep!) Steffi from Ohhhmhhh told us what the Brigitte magazine is already doing in cooperation with bloggers. Do you know the Weihnachtsbloggerei and the Food Blog Award? Do have a look, it’s great! And next year even more events and activities are already planned, yay! She also told us a little bit about what a blogger should do to get a chance to be featured in a magazine. Haha, let’s see if it works… 
Last but not least Caroline Ditting from Callwey told us a little bit about working at a publishing house and the great Matt Stinchcomb from Etsy just took us by storm with his charme!
What a brilliant day! The only disadvantage was that I didn’t have enough time and would have loved to speak to some more people! Hopefully next time!
