Im Sommer 2011 hat Google sein eigenes Social-Media Netzwerk gestartet, namens Google+. 2013 kam dann die Zwangsverbindung zwischen Google+ und YouTube. Viele dachten darüber nicht Positiv. Aber man gewöhnte sich daran. Es war nun eben mal so, dass wenn man YouTube nutzen möchte, letztendlich auch Google+ nutzt.
Aber das soll sich ändern. Sowohl für Kommentare als auch für den normalen Umgang auf YouTube wird man kein Google+ Konto mehr benötigen. Kommentare bleiben auf YouTube. Für Videos hochladen muss man kein +er mehr sein. Und bei den Kommentaren ändert sich noch was – und zwar das Ranking.
Hier zitiere ich einfach mal die passende Stelle aus dem entsprechenden News Beitrag aus dem YouTube Blog. Kommentar Änderungen sind bereits in Kraft getreten, in den nächsten Wochen / Monaten, ist dann Google+ auch kein Plficht mehr für YouTube selber.

With today’s announcement from Google+, you’ll see more changes. The comments you make on YouTube will now appear only on YouTube, not also on Google+. And vice-versa. This starts rolling out today.
Creators told us they liked the moderation options on their channels, like reviewing comments before they’re posted, blocking certain words, or auto-approving comments from certain fans. All this stays.
