Die kanadische Band Busty and the Bass ist in kurzer Zeit weit gekommen. Gelegentliche Auftritte bei Hauspartys führten schnell zu vollgepackten Live-Konzerten vor Tausenden Zuschauern auf Bühnen in den USA, Europa und ihrem Heimatland Kanada. Zu den prominentesten Fans der Band zählt R’n’B-Legende Macy Gray und auch Anderson .Paak lässt seine Show beim Montreal Jazz Festival an diesem Wochenende von den neun Kanadiern eröffnen.
Nach drei EPs steht nun das Debütalbum von Busty and the Bass an. „Uncommon Good“ erscheint am 08.09.2017 und ist eine kongruente Zusammenstellung von Songs, die sich irgendwo zwischen Jazz, HipHop und elektronischem Soul bewegen.
Mit „Common Ground“ feiert heute das erste Video Premiere.
