//For more than 2 years I worked as a restaurant manger for the best, and my personal favorite, restaurant in Graz, Austria “Trattoria Siena”. I mean, of course, it is the best since I worked for it ;) Check out the pictures and you will know what I’m talking about. If you are ever in Graz you have to stop by… it is totally worth it! It was really hard for me to leave the restaurant because I really loved my work there and the whole team has become like a family to me. In truth, I still go there almost everyday since I live basically next doors. My job was very rich in variety and challenged me to be creative. Sometimes it was also very exhausting, but the skills I learned in this position will help me to be successful in any job I may have in the future. From dishwashing to installing a new Corporate Identity, getting the broken sink fixed to working on new restaurant concepts, hiring new employees and organizing events I went through everything - and I mean everything! In addition to this, somehow I managed it to do my studies on the weekend. With my final year of studies and a potential internship abroad ahead of me, I am taking a year off work in order to focus more on my studies. The funny thing is - now that I’m off work, I’m really struggling to balance the responsibilities of my studies and time for my offline community… something one might call friends and family. ;) But it’s probably also because this blog takes up a lot of time! I have never had work-life-balance, and probably never will, because my work is my life! But as long as I love my work I’m totally happy with this. I put together some snapshots of stuff I was involved/responsible for at the restaurant for you. I hope you already ate something today because you are going to get super hungry if you see this ;) Enjoy!!!

Shopping for the Restaurant in Udine, Italy
As you can see on the last collage I went to Udine, Italy to shop for the restaurant many times. Ok, well, the main reason of going there was to shop for the restaurant, but I found some amazing stores in Udine with incredible heels, jackets, bags, nail polish and so on for amazing deals! My friends are always so impressed by the items I’ve purchased there – two of them have even gone to Udine with me to shop already! The list of items I must bring back home for my sister and other friends when I take a trip is endless as well. Therefore, I offered to still do the shopping trips to Italy if needed. This way the owner of the restaurant I worked for doesn’t need to send somebody down there and I can still do my shopping! Good deal isn’t it?!? WIN WIN ;) The next time I will be sure to show you what I got!!
What are your impressions of my work I put together for you? Doesn’t the food look amazing??
