Diese Matcha Schokolade (Criollo Marcaibo – weiss 36%) hatte ich auf dem Salon du Chocolat in Zürich im vergangenen Jahr entdeckt.
Sie wird vom Chocolatier Beschle in Basel hergestellt.
Der Geschmack ist erfrischend und einfach anders als bei normaler Schokolade (aber Kalorien hat sie genau die selben…). Sehr fein und aussergewöhnlich!
Matcha wurde vor über 800 Jahren von buddhistischen Möchen als Meditationsgetränk erschaffen und gilt heute als hochwertigste und seltenste Teesorte Japans. Nur einige Dutzend Teebauern besitzen die komplexe Kenntnis, diesen Tee herzustellen. Matcha enthält hohe Werte an positiv wirkenden Antioxidantien, insbesondere Epigallocatechingallat (70 mg/g).

It is made from Chocolatier Beschle in Basel.
The taste is refreshing and different from normal chocolate (but the calories are exactly the same …). Very fine and unusual!
Created over 800 years back in time by Buddhist monks as meditational drink Matcha is kown today as the rarest and most premium of all tea varieties of Japan.
