Seit kurzen bin ich auch stolzer Testbesitzer des Magic Trackpad von Apple und bin von dem Teil eigentlich auch hochbegeistert auch wenn es sich, auf jeden Fall für mich, nicht als kompletter Mausersatz eignet.
Also wurde meine alte Razer Diamondback, die mir so lange gute Dienste geleistet hat, wieder angeschlossen. Für das gute Stück gibt es allerdings keine Treiber mehr für OS X 10.7., wobei mir eigentlich nur die Daumentaste fehlen würde, um in Safari eine Seite zurückzublättern.
Auch hierfür gibt es eine Lösung, diese nennt sich USB Overdrive, damit funktioniert meine alte Diamondback wunderbar, nur schade das sich dieses kleine Progrämmchen auch noch das Magic Trackpad schnappt und kontrollieren möchte.
Eigentlich sollte man dieses Verhalten abschalten können in dem man dieser Anweisung folgt.
Restoring the Volume and Eject keys on Apple keyboards
The USB Overdrive can now handle the media keys on most keyboards including some Apple USB models, but the default settings may not include every existing keyboard. To configure the media keys and restore their functionality (or use them for other purposes), open the USB Overdrive user interface and press the relevant keys on the keyboard. New entries should be added to the left side list of controls. Most keys should be automatically configured to do the right thing. If they are not, select the appropriate assignment in the right side menus (typically “System Control” + “Mute Volume” or “Eject” or one of the other choices). If you want to use the Shift+Volume or Control+Eject key combinations, you may want to disable the USB Overdrive for your keyboard by following the procedure described below.Disabling the USB Overdrive for a specific device
If you have a device that works better without the Overdrive, you can give it back to the standard Mac OS X drivers by first creating specific settings for it (see paragraph above) and then unchecking the Enabled checkbox at the right.
Nun, das funktioniert so leider nicht!
Hat vielleicht irgend jemand da draussen eine Lösung für dieses Problem?
