Am heutigen Montag haben Don Cheadle, Laura Dern und Anna Kendrick die Nominierungen für die 74. Golden Globe Awards bekannt gegeben. Hierfür versammelten sie sich im Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, wo außerdem das diesjährige Miss Golden Globe Trio, bestehend aus Sophia, Sistine und Scarlet Stallone dabei waren. Ebenso haben sich Lorenzo Soria, Präsident der Hollywood Foreign Press Association und Barry Adelman, Executive VP of Television, zu diesem Zwecke dort eingefunden.
Die Golden Globe Awards sollen herausragende Talente, Filme und Serien des Jahres 2016 ehren. Die Verleihung findet am 8. Januar 2017 statt, bei der Talkshow Host Jimmy Fallon als Gastgeber fungieren wird. Bereits klar ist, dass Schauspielerin Meryl Streep den Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award erhalten wird.
