An der Langen Nacht im Museum für Kommunikation aufgenommen, ach ja, 70s Vibe, das hätt ich gerne miterlebt, Flower Power, Woodstock, Beatles, ABBA, Grease, Hair, Rocky Horror Picture Show, wenn man all die politischen Probleme mal beiseite lässt, hätt ich gerne in dieser Zeit gelebt, so farbenprächtig, kreativ und chillig, ich wär definitiv Hippie gewesen.This was taken during the long night of the museums, ohhhyes, the 70s vibe, I'd have loved to have experienced that time period, flower power, Woodstock, Beatles, ABBA, Grease, Hair, Rocky Horror Picture Show, if you leave the political upheaval aside, I would have loved to have lived during that time, so colourful, creative, realxed, I would definitely have been a Hippie.
Ich habs schon wieder getan. Ich habe ein neues Lady Skater Dress genäht. I liebe dieses Schnittmuster und möchte es in jeder Farbe und jedem Muster haben. Hinter mir kann man zwei weitere Versionen des Kleiders, die noch gesäumt werde müssen, sehen.Meine neueste Version besteht aus Coupons vom letzten Stoffmarkt. Ich habe die Blumen gesehen und musste den Stoff einfach haben. Da ich wusste, dass das Museum für Kommunikation das Thema 70er an der Langen Nacht haben würde, fand ich den Stoff sehr passend dafür.
I did it again. I made another Lady Skater Dress. I just love this pattern, I really can't get enough of it and I have to make more. Behind me, at the back you can see two more versions, which haven't been hemed yet. My newest version is made up from a coupons I bought at the last fabric market, I saw the flowers and just had to get it. As I knew we were going to have a 70s themed museum's night at the Museum for Kommunikation, I thought this would make the ideal dress for the occasion.
Kombiniert mit Kopfband, das ich in 10min zugeschnitten und genäht habe, Ohrringe und Kette war ich bereit, loszulegen. Natürlich hab ich auch meine Haare und Makeup dementsprechend gestylt. Schuhe? Nun, stilistisch gesehen wären jetzt natürlich Plateauschuhe gefragt, aber mit 1,85m find ich nicht, dass ich mehr Höhe brauch, und da ich arbeiten musste, wollte ich es natürlich bequem haben.
Paired with a headband, that took 10 min to cut and sew, earrings and necklace, I was ready to got. Of course I styled my hair and make up accordingly. The shoes? Well, stylistically I should have worn plateaus, but as I'm 6'1 I don't really need more height, and as I had to work, that would have been very uncomfortable.
Ich musste den Halsausschnitt und das Rückenteil ein wenig verkleinern und um die Naht zu verstecken, habe ich ein Spitzenreißverschluss draufgenäht.I had to take in the neckline and backbodice a little, to hide the seam, I chose to cover it with a lace zip.
Da ich so ein 70er Gefühl anstrebe, musste ich die Bilder natürlich etwas pimpen, also ihnen einen Retro-Touch verleihen und selbstverständlich etwas posen.
