It looks like Chris Brown will catch a break in his on-going "Gun case." New reports state the District Attorney in C.A. has not found enough evidence to continue on with the investigation. With no real proof to back up Baylee Curran's claim that the Grammy Award winning vocalist threatened her with a gun, law enforcement insiders believe the case will soon come to a close.
Continue below...Our law enforcement sources say the D.A. sees the handwriting on the wall ... all they have is a sketchy alleged victim who hedges on drug and alcohol consumption during the party and made the media rounds big time after the incident.
Authorities also have trouble pinning a gun to Chris. He threw a duffel bag out the window during the standoff and cops say they found 2 guns inside, but they're worried the weapons can't be tied to the singer.
"I cannot wait till the truth comes to light about this incident and this situation," Brown said last month. "You know, because my character's been defaced and who I am as a person and [my]integrity... I'm glad all my real supporters know me and know the truth and see the truth."
