Auf casting247.net wird gerade fleißig für den kommenden Deadpool-Film gesucht, der den Arbeitstitel Wham! trägt, offenbar in Anlehnung an eine Szene im Film selbst. Mir persönlich sagen die Beschreibungen zu den jeweiligen Rollen nichts - ich bin aber auch nicht allzu sehr mit dem -Universum vertraut - aber vielleicht kann ja der eine oder andere Deadpool-Fan etwas Licht in die Sache bringen. Interessant, wenn auch nicht verwunderlich, ist der Zusatz: "ROLE REQUIRES THREE SEQUEL OPTIONS". Damit dürfte klar sein, dass Ryan Reynolds bei einem entsprechenden Box Office Erfolg mehr als nur ein Deadpool-Abenteuer bestreiten darf.
Wobei man hier die Frage aufwerfen könnte, inwiefern die folgenden Deadpool-Filme dann Stand-Alones wären oder vielleicht Crossovers mit anderen Superhelden-Franchises. Die Rechte zu Deadpool liegen bei Fox, womit ein Crossover mit den X-Men-Filmen möglich wäre. Colossus ist gar schon für den Deadpool-Film bestätigt. Wäre ein Deadpool/Wolverine-Aufeinandertreffen nicht schön?
Hier aber erst einmal die offizielle Casting-Meldung:

But she's not a victim-she may not have a great life but she's holding it together and does what she needs to get by. She's got a great sense of humor but it leans heavily towards irony and sarcasm. [SIMON] Any ethnicity, late 20s to early 40s. Quirky, great sense of humor. Smart, funny, but more than a little bit slippery. Fast talker, always looking to make a buck. He looks out for himself first and foremost, but reveals loyalty at the end of the day. ROLE REQUIRES THREE SEQUEL OPTIONS.
[SHIRLIE] African American, late 60s to early 80s. Worldly, great sense of comedic timing, sarcastic, dry, funny. ROLE REQUIRES THREE SERIES OPTIONS.

Auf joblo.com wird derweil vermutet, dass es sich bei "Karen" um die Figur Angel Dust handelt, die in der letzten Wochen offiziell mit Gina Carano (Haywire) besetzt wurde. Außerdem hat Jeff Sneider von The Wrap via Twitter verlauten lassen, dass T. J. Miller und Ed Skrein wohl "Simon" und "Ridge" spielen werden.
FYI, TJ Miller and Ed Skrein are playing "Simon" and "Ridge" in DEADPOOL, whoever those characters may actually be...

Bei "Simon" könnte es sich dabei um Deadpools Sidekick Weasel handeln, während "Ridge" ein gewisser Ajax sein soll. Was meint ihr? Wer ist da wer?
