D Eigentlich habe ich schon lange vor mal meine Kameratasche für euch auszupacken und euch zu erzählen was sich so darin verbirgt. Nun habe ich bei Janine einen interessanten Post über ihre Kameratasche gelesen und wurde wieder daran erinnert.
Ich habe mich allerdings entschieden euch nicht lang und breit alle technischen Geräte vorzustellen die ich so besitze, schließlich habe ich dafür ja schon meine Equipmentseite, die ihr hier oder rechts in der Sidebar finden könnt. Ich dachte mir also es ist wahrscheinlich interessanter für euch, jene Dinge auszupacken die nicht auf der Equipmentseite stehen und trotzdem ihre Wichtigkeit haben.

However I decided that I don't want to show you my whole camera equipment, because therefor I already have my equipmentpage - which you find here or in my sidebar. I thought it would me more interesting for you if I unpack all the things that aren't on my equipmentpage but still are importent.
Basics
D 1. Das Putztuch: sollte man immer dabei haben um Dreck vom Glas der Objektive leicht entfernen zu können. Ich benutze dazu ein ganz normales, trockenes Brillenputztuch.
2. Ersatzspeicherkarten: Was gibt es ärgerlicheres, als eine volle oder kaputte Speicherkarte? Und dann kommt der perfekte Moment und man kann ihn einfach nicht festhalten. Ärgerlich oder? Einfache Lösung: Immer ein paar Ersatzspeicherkarten zur Hand haben.
3. Blasebalg: Ich benutze eine Klistierspritze dafür, die normal zwar einen anderen Zweck hat, aber zu diesem auch sehr gut dient. Und zwar: Staub auf dem Sensor, der lässt sich damit einfach wegpusten und man spart sich vorerst die teure Sensorreinigung.
4. Ersatzakku: Mindestens genauso ärgerlich, wie eine volle Speicherkarte: ein leerer Akku. Zu diesem Zweck sollte man immer einen vollgeladenen Ersatzakku dabei haben. Ich weiß noch genau, wie ich in Südafrika stand und es gleich zur Safari los gehen sollte und eine meiner Mitreisenden mich total aufgelöst nach einem Ersatzakku fragte. Meiner hat leider nicht gepasst und so konnte sie von diesem wundervollen Moment keine Bilder machen.
5. Fernauslöser: Man weiß nie wofür man ihn mal brauchen kann oder? Und wenn es nur ist um die Kamera auf dem Stativ stehen zu lassen und zwischendurch ein Spaßfoto mit dem Model zu schießen.
E 1. Cleaning cloth: I always have it with me to remove dirt from the glass of my lens. I always use a normal, dry glasses cloth.
2. Compensatory memory cards: is there something more annoying than a full or broken memory card? And than there is the perfect moment and you can't take a photo of it. But there is an easy solution: always take some compensatory memory cards with you.
3. Bellows: as a bellows I use a enema syringe, which has normally another task, but it's cheaper than a bellows and you can use it to remove dust from your sensor. Often you can just blow the dust away with a bellows, which is way cheaper than a professional sensor cleaning.
4. Compensatory battery: as annoying as a full or broken memory card: an empty battery. For this reason I always take a compensatory battery with me. I remember, that on my big safari day in South Africa a girl came to me and asked me really upset for a battery. Mine didn't fit in her camera and so she couldn't take photos of this overwhelming moment.
5. Remote Release: you never know if you need a remote release, it can be pretty useful. And if it's just to put the camera on the tripod and take a fun photo with your model.
Bei Fotoshootings mit Model/ For People Photography
D 1. Altes Buch: so ein schönes altes Buch kann aus einem mittelmäßigen Foto schon mal ein tolles Foto machen. Und das nicht nur wenn man Menschen fotografiert - siehe zum Beispiel hier. Passend ist es für fast alle Locations und kann Bildern etwas verwunschenes geben. Ich habe daher mehrere alte Bücher, von denen ich immer eines mitnehme.
2. Seifenblasen: Ich liebe Seifenblasen. Zum Einsatz sind sie bei einem Shooting mit mir noch nie gekommen, aber ich bin mir sicher das kommt eines Tages noch.
3. Rauchpatronen und ein Feuerzeug: Mit Rauch Shootings machen macht auf jeden Fall eine Menge Spaß und ich mache es auch immer gern. Auch den Models hat es bisher immer Spaß bereitet und bei den Bildern kamen tolle Ergebnisse heraus. Über die Patronen habe ich hier schonmal einen Post geschrieben.
4. Schminke: es gibt in meinen Augen kaum etwas nervigeres und unnötigeres als nach einem Fotoshooting in Photoshop glänzende Stellen auf der Haut wegzuretuschieren. Dabei ist es so einfach zu verhindert: transparentes Puder. Da es transparent ist passt es jedem Hauttyp und lässt glänzige Stellen verschwinden. Mein transparentes Puder war noch dazu ziemlich billig und ist von essence. Dazu habe ich meistens noch einen kleinen Puderpinsel und ein Concealer Set dabei.
5. Sonstiges: Natürlich kommt das alles auch darauf an, was der Plan für das Shooting ist. Diese vier Dinge habe ich eigentlich immer dabei, egal wie der Plan ist. Allerdings habe ich auch oft noch mehr dabei, z.B. eine Blume, einen Blumekranz, eine Pfeife, ...
E 1. Old book: such a beautiful old book can enrich a photo a lot and not just when you photograph people - have a look in this example. It fits perfectly for nearly every location and can give the picture something enchanted. I have different old books and I always have one of it with me at photoshootings.
2. Bubbles: I love bubbles. I never used them in a shooting, but I always have them with me and I'm pretty sure the day for some bubbles will come.
3. Smoke cartridges and a lighter: shootings with smoke make a lot of fun and I love doing them. Also the models always have a lot of fun with it and the results were great. I already wrote a post about smoke cartridges which you find here.
4. Make Up: there is hardly something more annoying than masking shiny skin out of a models face after a photoshooting. Although it's pretty easy to avoid: transparent powder. Because it's transparent you can use it for every skin type and it masks shiny skin. For that reason I use a cheap powder by essence. I also usually have a little powder brush and a concealer set with me.
5. Other stuff: what I take with depends on the plan for the shooting. I have those four things that I mentioned above always with me independent of the plan. Certainly I often take some more stuff with me like a flower, a coronal, a pipe, ...
Sonstiges/ Others
D 1. Sprühflasche mit Wasser: was sieht schöner aus als Blumen oder Spinnweben im Tau? Aber ob gerade Tau auf einer schönen Blume ist, kann man sich leider nicht aussuchen. Oder etwa doch? Mit einer kleinen Sprühflasche voller Wasser kann man da schon mal leicht tricksen, daher habe ich immer eine dabei. Und infrage gestellt hat bisher keiner meinen Kunsttau, ein Beispielbild findet ihr hier.
2. Visitenkarten: man weiß nie wer einem über den Weg läuft, eine Visitenkarte dabei zu haben kann nie schaden und vielleicht wirkt man in manchen Fällen damit auch seriöser als man eigentlich ist. Meine aktuellen Visitenkarten könnt ihr euch hier anschauen.
E 1. Spray bottle with water: whats more beautiful than flowers or spider webs with dew? But you can't choose if this beautiful flower you see has some dew on it or not, or can you? With a little spray bottle full of water you always have your own dew with you, that's why I always take one with me. And nobody ever questioned my artificial dew, you can see an example picture here.
2. Business cards: you never know who will pass your way so it can't hurt to have some business cards with you. And in some situations you may appear more reliable with them. You can see my current business cards here.
