Following suit from biographical films like Lone Survivor and the recently released Deep Water Horizon, Mark Wahlberg brings another true story to the big screen in his latest flick, Patriots Day. Reuniting with director Peter Berg, Wahlberg plays a Boston Police Department Sergeant who survives the horrific 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, and joins the subsequent manhunt. John Goodman, J.K Simmons and Kevin Bacon also join the fight to bring the bombers to justice.
Patriots Day opens in New York, Los Angeles and Boston on December 21, before a nationwide release on January 13.
