Sein brandneues Musikvideo „Hendrix" ist eine filmreife Hollywoodproduktion und dient als Vorbote für die im November erscheinende „J´ouvert" EP. Gaststars im Video sind Michael K. Williams („The Wire") und Tasha Smith („Why Did I Get Married?").
„'Hendrix' is a very deep song for me because when I recorded ‚Gone Til November,' it was a song about dudes making drug runs. And, in ‚Hendrix,' I wanted to remind kids that you always have a choice. I have heard so many kids in the new generation quote ‚Gon Til November' so I wanted to tap into the frequency with ‚Hendrix' and send a positive message.
This speaks to the neighborhood I grew up in and how it didn't look like much. The devil, or the streets, offered drugs and cartel and I chose music."
