Vor kurzem rief der ex-JET-Frontmann seine Fans dazu auf gemeinsam seinen Song ‚Eyes on the Horizon' von seinem Solo-Debütalbum „Sugar Rush" (2017) zu spielen - und so schickten ihm aus aller Welt Leute Videos, wie sie auf diversen Instrumenten die Melodie einspielen. Nic sang dann die Lyrcis dazu ein. Gitarren, Rasseln, Keyboards, Bass, Schlagzeug - alles wurde rausgeholt und am Ende zu einem Video zusammengeschnitten.
„On the 11th of April 2020 I asked if anyone would like to play a song with me. What followed was a beautiful and humbling experience. The song was put together using audio and video sent to me by different people from all over the world in isolation and quarantine. It is a compilation of sound recordings made by only the people featured in this video without any additional overdubs. People who have never met playing music alone together. A heartfelt thanks to everybody who contributed."
