Die Müchner Indiepop Band King Pigeon haben mit 'The Stock Life' ihr allererstes Video aus ihrer im Januar diesen Jahres erschienenen Debüt-EP "About The Stock Life" veröffentlicht:
Directed by Lennart Heidtmann, the video captures the song's theme of slowly getting enchained by a life in the "rat race" and the wish to break out of it. Its nocturnal setting is in line with the band's now more mature and ethereal sound that features synthesizers for the very first time.
A cinematic look is created through a wide aspect ratio and the dominance of blue and amber tones - an approach inspired by movies like Nicolas Refn's "Drive".
