Van Halen unterschreibt bei Interscope
Bezugnehmend auf die inoffizielle Website Van Halens, hat Van Halen einen Vertrag mit Interscope zustande gebracht. Und nicht wie es in den bisherigen Gerüchten hieß mit Columbia. Das komplette neue Studio-Album, das erste seit 27 Jahren, mit dem ursprünglichen Sänger David Lee Roth. Das Werk soll im Frühjahr nächsten Jahres erscheinen.
Produzent Ross Hogarth sagte in einem Interview: “The whole Van Halen record has been recorded and we’re all excited. I’m really stoked about it, as it is the original band, Eddie and Alex with Wolf [Eddie's son] playing bass, and David Lee Roth singing, it’s the killing side of Van Halen at the top of their game again with Diamond Dave, and the band on fire.”
