Urban Jungle Bloggers – die Zweite. So schnell kann ein Monat schon fast wieder vorbei sein. Aber ausnahmsweise werden die Monatsenden dieses Jahr wohl doch toller als erwartet für mich. Igor und Judith sei Dank. Das Thema für Februar ist “hanging plants”.
Ich muss zugeben, dass ich zu Anfang ja nicht so begeistert davon war, obwohl ich schon wirklich viele schöne Ideen mit hängenden Pflanzen gesehen hatte. Eine kleine kreative Herausforderung also für mich.
Durch Zufall bin ich auf die Seite von Modern Macramé gestoßen und habe dort auch gleich das Titelbild für das hanging plants- Thema gefunden. Also habe ich das gleich mal als Vorlage für meine Pflanzenaufhänger genommen.
Makramee kannte ich ja bis jetzt eigentlich nur von Armbändern, aber mit Hilfe von dieser Anleitung von Elegante Jardín colgante waren die “Netze” für meine Pflanzen so super schnell fertig und ich finde ganz so schlecht sehen sie für das erste Mal doch auch nicht aus oder?
Ich bin schon gespannt auf das Thema für März. So langsam wird es ja hoffentlich auch Frühling.

The theme for February is “hanging plants”.
I admit that I don’t was so enthusiastic at first, even though I had seen many beautiful ideas with hanging plants. So, a little creative challenge for me.
By chance I came across the site of Modern Macramé, where I found the same image like that title picture for the hanging plants- topic. So I have taken this as a template for my plant hangers.
I have known Macrame before only from bracelets, but with the help of this tutorial by Elegant Jardín colgante were the “nets” for my plants done so super fast and I do not think they’re so bad for my first time. Aren’t they?
I am already looking forward to the theme for March. Hopefully spring comes closer soon. Love, Leah.
