Wie es mit Trends so ist, auch in der Nähwelt kursiert derzeit einer. Viele von den Hobbyschneiderinnen nähen aktuell die kleine Fledermaus „bat plush" von Choly Knight von sew desu ne?. Ich kann es ihnen nicht verdenken, der kleine Flattermann ist aber auch verdammt süß! Nun ist es aber so, dass die Schnittmuster von Choly leider nur in Englisch vorliegen. Für diejenigen, die englisch sprechen, ist das nicht zwingend ein Problem. Allerdings sind viele Begriffe im Bereich nähen doch ein wenig anders, als man vermuten würde. Da sitzt man bei einem englischsprachigen Schnittmuster öfter mal mit dem Wörterbuch da und kann sich nicht mehr aufs Nähen konzentrieren.

Darum habe ich mich kurzerhand mit der lieben Choly in Verbindung gesetzt und sie gefragt, ob ich ihr Schnittmuster übersetzen darf. Grundsätzlich ist nämlich so eine Übersetzung nicht sonderlich schwer, aber es gibt einige Dinge im Urheberrecht zu beachten. Das wollte ich im Vorfeld abgeklärt haben. Choly erlaubte mir dann auch noch, Screenshots aus ihrer Anleitung zu verwenden, wodurch ich dir nun ein fertiges PDF als Download präsentieren kann!

Alles in allem hat das Übersetzen und Layouten etwa zwei Tage in Anspruch genommen und ich freue mich wirklich sehr, dass es so schnell ging. Da ich diesmal vollkommen alleine zugange war, kann es durchaus passiert sein, dass sich ein Rechtschreibfehler eingeschlichen hat. Wenn dem so ist, gib mir bitte kurz Bescheid, damit ich das korrigieren kann.

Choly also allowed me to use screenshots from her tutorial, so I can now present a finished PDF as a download!

All in all, the translation and layout took about two days and I am really happy that it went so fast. Since I was completely alone this time, it may well have happened that a spelling error has settled. If this is so, please let me know, so I can correct that.
