Der zeitlise Klassiker kehrt zurück und erhält dank der kommenden Veröffentlichung ein Extra-Leben. Die Rede ist natürlich vom TheC64, der das meisteverkaufte Computersystem der 80er Jahre war.
1982 beginnt die Erfolgsgeschichte des C64 Heim-Computers. Das Rechenwunder sollte die Computerszene der 80er Jahre dominieren wie kein anderes Gerät. Millionen weltweit verkaufter Einheiten garantieren für einen Platz im Herzen aller Kinder dieser Zeit – und jetzt, 37 Jahre später ist er zurück!
Der THEC64 im Originalformat umfasst eine voll funktionsfähige Tastatur, einen verbesserten Micro-Switch-Classic-Joystick, vier USB-Ports und einem HDMI-Anschluss. Bei den drei wählbaren Modi bleibt die Qual der Wahl, ob der Original C64 BASIC, VIC20 BASIC Startvorgang gewählt wird oder das eher einsteigerfreundliche Spiel-Karussell, das den Sprung in die 64 vorinstallierten Spiele – entweder in 50 Hz oder 60 Hz mit optionalem CRT Filtern ermöglicht.

Die vorinstallierten Spiele umfassen dabei Klassiker wie California Games, Paradroid und Boulder Dash sowie die "Neuheiten": Attack of the Mutant Camels, Hover Bovver, Iridis Alpha und Gridrunner. Als Sahnehäubchen umfasst das Paket zudem die beiden kürzlich veröffentlichten Titel Galencia und das Text-Adventure Planet of Death. Eigene C64 und VIC20 Titel können zudem über die USB Schnittstellen geladen werden.
