Der Kölner Heiner Kruse aka The Green Man betreibt mit seinem Label Basswerk eines der bekanntesten deutschen Drum & Bass Imprints und steht in der Szene für Qualität und musikalische Offenheit. Anlässlich des 22jährigen Label-Jubiläums kündigt Basswerk für das Frühjahr 2019 gleich zwei neue Releases an.
Das Debut-Album „The Green Man & Kingz - Changes" vereint deepen, musikalischen Drum & Bass mit HipHop, Soul und Pop.
Die Compilation „The Green Man (TGM) presents: 22 Years of Basswerk: The Collab Sessions" liefert ein neues Level ab indem sie verspielt und mit vielen unterschiedlichen Soundansätzen die musikalischen Freiheiten und den Spaß der „Jungle" Idee wieder in den Vordergund stellt und neben Drum & Bass auch Einflüsse von HipHop, Dub und Future Bass Musik integriert.
