THE BLOGGER’S CHOICE – SPRING FLING.

Diesen Monat dreht sich bei The Blogger’s Choice alles um den Frühling und so heißt unser Motto dieses Mal ganz passend „Spring Fling“. Unser Motto ist auch wirklich treffend, denn man weiß zur Zeit nicht so recht, ob es denn wirklich schon Frühling ist oder nicht. Ich hab die kalten Temperaturen mittlerweile wirklich satt für dieses Jahr und freue mich darüber schon in Rio angekommen zu sein, wenn ihr diesen Beitrag lest. Auf dicke Pullover & Boots habe ich schon länger keine Lust mehr und so versuche ich die ersten leichteren Kleidungsstücke aus meinem Schrank hervorzukramen und diese in meine Outfits zu integrieren. So geschehen in diesem Look, den ich mit der lieben Jacqueline fotografiert habe. Lange waren Socken verpönt in Sandalen und sind es noch immer, wenn es um die lieben deutschen Männer geht, die ihre weißen Tennissocken zu gerne in Sandalen tragen. (Einwurf: Allgemein finde ich sollten Männer ihre Füße auch im Sommer lieber verborgen halten!) Doch oft werden einstige Fashion Faux-pas zu großen Trends – süße Socken & Strümpfen können jetzt ganz lässig zu Loafers, Heels & Co. getragen werden. Ich finde den neuen Trend super chic. Süße Looks und warme Füße = wenn das mal nicht eine Win-Win-Situation ist. Wie gefällt euch der Trend?
Spring. Sprang. Sprung. Not only our calendars show the official start of spring, but also this month’s theme of The Blogger’s Choice: Spring fling. We couldn’t have named our theme better since the weather is pretty shitty. One day it seems like spring is arriving on full force, the next it’s raining cats and dogs again. I can’t stand those cold temperatures anymore and that’s why I’m extra happy to be already in Rio while you are reading this post.
Every year, once the temperatures drop, thick sweater & boots are ALL I can think of, but after months of bearing the cold I can’t stand the heavy layering anymore. That’s why I simply try to incorporate more and more of spring pieces into my outfits. I still stay warm but have more clothes and combinations to chose from. Quite often former fashion faux-pas turn into fashion trends. Socks in sandals used to be such a no-go. But no matter what magazine or street style you look at, you see cute socks in loafers, heels and the like. I absolutely love that trend! Cute looks and warm feet = Win-Win! How do you like that trend?
