tatata!

Manchmal hat man Glück und das Gute liegt tatsächlich sooo nah! So wie tatata – das neue Atelier für einzigartige Möbel! Ich hab das letzte Perlfisch-Wochenende genutzt und hab Lydia und Renata, die Desginer hinter tatata, in ihrem Atelier bei mir um die Ecke in Pempelfort besucht.

Die Innenarchitektin und die Raumausstatterin kommen eigentlich aus Kanada und den USA, haben sich aber in Düsseldorf bei Schwangerschaftsyoga kennengelert. Sie sind supersympathische Mütter von zwei Jungs und wollten ursprünglich nur das herstellen, was sie selbst nicht gefunden haben. Nämlich außergewöhnliche Möbel fürs Kinderzimmer, die nicht langweilig, sondern genauso besonders wie ihre Kinder sind. Daraus ist tatata enstanden – alte Kindermöbelschätzchen, denen Lydia und Renata neues Leben einhauchen! Mit viel Liebe und Phantasie entstehen so echte Hingucker mit ganz viel Charme – einfach wunderschön! Und wer Lust auf mehr hat – die beiden entwickeln auch ganze Raumkonzepte. Oh Lust hätte ich ja auf jeden Fall…

Und für alle, die nicht mal eben im kleinen aber feinen tatata Atelier vorbeischauen können: einige Stühlchen sind auch bei Luftebon in Oberkassel und bei Planbar in Pempelfort zu bewundern. Und der Online Shop ist jetzt auch geöffnet!

Sometimes you are lucky and the extra special find lies right around the your corner! Just like tatata – the new studio for unique furniture! I used the last Perlfisch-Weekend and visisted Lydia and Renate, the designers behind tatata, in their lovely little workstudio in Düsseldorf Pempelfort.

The interior designers are originally from Canada and the USA but met each other in Düsseldorf doing prenatal yoga. They are super nice moms of two little boys and initially only wanted to make what they weren’t able to find. Namely unique furniture for childrens’ rooms that are not boring but just as special as their kids. That’s how tatata was created – old furniture gems for children that Lydia and Renata give a new life. With lots of love and phantasy real eyecatchers are created – just beautiful! And who just can’t get enough – the two also develop complete interior concepts. Oh that would be soo great…
