Heute einmal aus dem Alltag. Hai, ein Freund von mir, der bei mir Englischunterricht nimmt und sich für einen Test vorbereitet, lud mich in sein Studentenwohnheim ein. In meiner Straße sind viele dieser Wohnheime, da die Uni nah ist.
Diese Wohnheime sind klein, Hais ist sogar schon recht luxuriös, mit eigenem Bad ausgestattet. 800 000 Dong kostet es im Monat. Er teilt sich das Zimmer mit einem Freund. Nur so kann er überhaupt die Miete auftreiben. Ich finde 800 000 Dong schon ganz schön teuer, wenn man das mit meinen drei Millionen vergleicht.
Naja, viel Charme hat das nicht. Es ist alles funktional und minimalistisch.

Today a piece from everyday life. Hai is a friend of mine who I teach English and prepare for an exam. He invited me to his student boarding house, where he lives. In my street are many of these nha tro, since the university lies near.
These boarding houses are small. Hai’s room actually is quite big and luxurious, with an own bathroom. 800 000 Dong is the fee in a month. He lives with a friend and shares the room, so he can afford this. 800 000 Dong is quite much compared to my three million.
Anyway, not much character. All is functional and minimalistic.
