Last week I was invited to Live Night by Stella & Dot. As location for this event they chose the Germand fishing and hunting museum with its large impressive arches. A good choice in my opinion, even if the stuffed bears and wild boars were a little confusing.
The Night Live was not only a fashion show, but also a presentation with styling tips. Their motto "As a guest among friends" matched absolutely to the team of Stella & Dot. The U.S. company was gaved us a lot of information and showed us the highlights of the season live at the models. On a long table you could then examine, admire and try out the most amazing pieces. The small fashion show was also a highlight. However, I think the most attention was on the clothes and the famous faces of German model casting shows than on the fine necklaces and bracelets. Therefore, the jewelry disappeared a bit but you could touch and close up them afterwards.
The special thing about Stella & Dot is the principle of "trunk shows" in which everyone can organize a small party at home with a stylist.The love stylist Marlene (1st picture, 2nd from left) has invited me to the show. Als Location für diese Event wurde das deutsche Fischerei- und Jagdmuseum ausgewählt, mit wahnsinnig imposanten weißen Gewölben. Eine gute Wahl meiner Meinung nach, auch wenn die ausgestopften Bären und Wildschweine etwas verwirrend waren.
Die Live Night gestaltete sich nicht nur durch eine Fashion Show sondern auch durch einen Vortrag und Styling-Tipps. Ihrem Motto Als Gast unter Freunden" wurde das Team von Stella&Dot absolut gerecht. Das aus den USA stammende Unternehmen bereitete Informationen auf und zeigte uns die Highlights der Season Live an den Models. Auf einer langen Tafel konnte man dann die tollsten Stücke genauer begutachten, anprobieren und bewundern. Auch die kleine Fashion Show war ein Highlight. Allerdings achtet man eher auf die Kleidung und die Gesichter, die wohl bereits aus "Germany's Next Topmodel" und dem "perfekten Model" bekannt waren, als die feinen Ketten und Armbänder. Deswegen ging der Schmuck leider ein wenig unter, aber man konnte ihn ja danach noch "hautnah" erleben und anfassen.
Das besondere an Stella&Dot ist das Prinzip der "Trunkshows", bei der man als Gastgeberin eine kleine Party veranstaltet und eine Stylistin mit dem Inventar vorbeikommt und alles präsentiert.
