Nachdem Tay Do, die westliche Hauptstadt der Ho-Dynastie erst vor kurzem zum Weltkulturerbe erklärt wurde, haben die Forschungen bezüglich dieser kurzen Epoche (1400-1407) stark zugenommen.
Als ich heute morgen im Café saß und genüßlich meinen ca phe sua da schlürfte und dabei Tuoi Tre las, stieß ich auf folgende Meldung:
Der Direktor der Weltkulturerbestelle Thanh Nha Ho (Ho-Zitadelle) Dr. Do Quang Trong hat den Fund eines Steinbruchs in der Provinz Thanh Hoa bekanntgegeben. Es handelt sich um ein Areal von 25 ha. Nach erster Begutachtung des anstehenden Steins (wohl ein Sandstein)kam man zu dem Schluss, dass damit die Hauptstadt der Ho-Dynastie gebaut wurde.
Prof. Luu Tran Tieu, der Vorsitzende des Amtes für Kulturelles Erbe, sagte, die Forschungen bezüglich des Steinbruchs werden tiefergehende Kenntnisse zur Rohstoffgewinnung und Nutzung von Technologie und Technik bringen.

After being a UNESCO World Heritage Site for some months, the research on the capital of the short lived Ho dynasty (1400-1407) has much intensified.
In the morning I was sitting in my favourite coffeehsop as usual and reading my newspaper drinking a ca phe sua da, when I read the following news:
The director of the Heritage Site Thanh Nha Ho (Ho Citadel) Dr. Do Quang Trong announced the finding of a quarry in the province of Thanh Hoa. It is an area of approximately 25 ha. After the first assessment of the stones (a sandstone) they decided that these have been used to build the capital of the Ho dynasty.
Prof. Luu Tran Tieu, the director the National Heritage Commitee said that the further research will bring new insights into the raw materials use and the technology and techniques exploiting them.
