Solange’s ‘A Seat At The Table’ Album Debuts No. 1 on Billboard

Solange has plenty of reasons to smile. The singer/songwriter's new album A Seat At The Table has received plenty of praise and great reviews since its release a little over a week ago. Now, the album makes it mark on the charts, debuting No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Featuring appearances by Lil' Wayne, Kelly Rowland, The-Dream, Sampha, Q-Tip, BJ the Chicago Kid, Tweet, and Dev Hynes, A Seat At The Table moved 72,000 equivalent album units (46,000 traditional album sales) opening week.

The project becomes Solange's first-ever No. 1 album, earning 35.7 million streams opening week. It's the second most streamed album opening week this year, only behind Drake's Views. Get the album on iTunes and watch the new documentary centered around creating A Seat at the Table here.
