Na, habt Ihr schon alle Karnevalkostüme für Eure Kids? Hier noch eine Idee, die auch auf letzten Drücker noch zu machen ist: wie wärs mit einem kleinen Löwen?
Ganz einfach in einen Pappteller zwei Löcher für die Augen reinschneiden und anmalen. Die Ohren sind aus einem weiteren Teller und werden hinten drangeklebt. Die Nase ist eine halbierte Styroporkugel, die braun angemalt wurde, die Mähne besteht aus Packpapierstreifen und den Mund hab ich aufgemalt. Zum Schluss noch zwei Löcher an den Seiten auf Ohrenhöhe reinmachen und ein Gummiband durchziehen – fertig!

So do you all already have a costume for your kids? (The German carnival season is around the corner.) Here’s an idea that can be done last minute: how about a little lion?
Simply cut two holes into a paper plat for the eyes and paint it. The ears are made from another plate and glued to the back. The nose is one half of a styrofoam ball which was painted in brown, the mane is made of kraft paper stripes and the mouth was drawn by me. To finish make two holes into the plate and put a rubber band through them – et voila!
