Hiya,
I "recently" got to pick 2 items for review from Bornprettystore and I'll be showing you those two within this week, so stay tuned for more! I say "recently" because it took almost 2 months to get here. Normally my BPS orders don't take that long, but I usually pay for tracking, so that might be the trick... or not. It's really hit or miss.
Ich durfte mir "neulich" 2 Artikel vom Bornprettystore aussuchen und möchte euch diese im Verlauf dieser Woche zeigen, also behaltet ein Auge auf den Blog für Teil 2! Ich sage "neulich" weil das Paket 2 Monate zu mir gebraucht hat. Normalerweise kommen meine Bestellungen vom BPS schneller an, aber ich zahle immer schön fürs Tracking, könnte daran liegen... Oder auch nicht. Vielleicht ist es auch reine Glückssache.
I think meanwhile everyone is familiar with nail studs, hm? I got this cute wheel filled with round and square studs in many different pastel colours. Personally, I have very humble expectations towards nail studs: 1. should fit on my nail 2. thus no parts should be standing off my nails 3. should attach with top coat or polish 4. colour shouldn't bleed (e.g. after top coating them). That's that. And these studs pass all those expecations.
Ich denke mittlerweile weiss jeder für das diese kleinen Nieten gut sind, oder? Ich habe dieses Nagelrad mit runden und quadratischen Nieten in Pastellfarben erhalten. Meine persönlichen Erwartungen an solche Nieten sind eher bescheiden: 1. sollten auf meinen Nagel passen 2. und darum auch nirgendwo abstehen 3. sollten mit Top Coat oder Lack haften 4. die Farbe sollte nicht ausbluten (z.B.durch Top Coat). Das ist alles. Und diese Nieten haben alle meine Erwartungen erfüllt.
I wasn't happy with how the first photos turned out, the lighting was rubbish and neon shades always give me a supernatural skintone... I've been working on my angle to make the light work. So I did a second design with Barry M's Coconut, a beautiful creamy white. It took 3 coats for an opaque coverage, but it's well worth it!
Mit den Fotos hatte ich ziemlich Mühe, ich muss noch mit dem Kamerawinkel experimentieren damit das richtig hinhaut, ausserdem kriege ich von neon Farben immer komische Haut auf den Bildern... Dafür habe ich noch ein zweites Design gepinselt. Verwendet habe ich dafür Coconut von Barry M, ein wunderschönes cremiges Weiss. Benötigt zwar 3 Schichten bis er richtig streifenfrei deckt, aber es lohnt sich!
