Das ist ja mal ne Neuigkeit. Unser wertgeschätztes “A Tribe Called Quest” Mitglied Q-Tip wird sein neues Soloalbum „The Last Zulu“ im nächsten Jahr auf Kanye West’s Label G.O.O.D. Music veröffentlichen. In den nächsten Monaten soll es dazu dann noch mehr Informationen geben. Dort trifft er seinen alten Kollegen Barry Weiss aus den Zeiten von “ATCQ” wieder, der zur Zeit CEO bei Universal Republic / Def Jam ist.
Q-Tip sagte dazu:
„I’m excited to be a part of the great iconic Def Jam label. I’m humbled to be a part of such a storied history. To reconnect with Barry Weiss is a great thing. As far as G.O.O.D. Music, I’m excited to solidify my working relationship with Kanye, and I look forward to all the opportunities that lie ahead in our partnership. I will do my best to present the most cutting edge music I can.”
