D Von meiner Instax mini 8 Polaroidkamera habt ihr jetzt schon öfter gehört, aber ich bin noch nie dazu gekommen euch auch wirklich Bilder zu zeigen, die ich damit gemacht habe. Inzwischen habe ich mich mal etwas mit der Kamera befasst und mich auch an "richtige" Fotos gewagt, stat nur an Spaßfotos mit Freunden. Da es natürlich analoge Sofortbilder sind - wie das bei Polaroids nun mal ist - war es gar nicht so einfach sie auf den PC zu bekommen. Es gibt eigentlich nur zwei Möglichkeiten: sie abfotografieren oder sie einscannen. Abfotografieren hat nicht geklappt, da auf dem glänzenden Fototeil immer irgendwelche Reflexionen waren. Also habe ich schließlich meine Mitbewohnerin gebeten ihren Scanner nutzen zu dürfen und schließlich alle zwanzig Polaroidbilder eingescannt, die ich je gemacht habe. Heute möchte ich euch vier Polaroidbilder zeigen, die ich im Laufe der Zeit gemacht habe. Das erste Bild, oben links, habe ich in Kapstadt gemacht, es war das zweite Bild, dass die Kamera je geschossen hat. Darauf zu sehen ist die Straße in der ich sechs Wochen gelebt habe und im Hintergrund leicht verschwommen, der Tafelberg. Das zweite Bild, oben rechts, ist an dem See entstanden, in dem ich vor kurzem Jacky geshootet habe, es ist etwas dunkel geworden, aber ich finde das Bild hat total etwas. Das dritte Bild, links unten, habe ich in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern am Meer gemacht, als ich meinen Graufilter getestet habe. Und das letzte Bild, unten rechts, ist ebenfalls in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern entstanden, auf einem Schneespaziergang im Wald, darauf zu sehen sind die Schatten meines Freundes und mir, was ich irgendwie schön finde.
Besonders viel Freiheiten bei wie Kameraeinstellungen und so etwas hat man bei der Polaroidkamera nicht, also habe ich eigentlich einfach drauf losgeknipst und geschaut was dabei herauskommt. Die Bilder finde ich recht dunkel, aber sie haben etwas von diesem Polaroid Stil, den man auch von alten Polaroids kennt. Das ist finde ich, was diese Bilder ausmacht und ich finde sie sind eigentlich richtig gut geworden.
Was sagt ihr zu den Bildern? Seit ihr auch so große Polaroidfans wie ich?

By now I made some "real" photos with it, so not only fun pictures with friends but also some landscapes. They are instant pictures - like polaroids usually are - and so it wasn't that easy to get them digital on my computer. There are only two possibilities: to make photos of them or to scan them. Photographing them didn't really work because I always had some reflections on them. And so I asked my roommate to use her scanner and finally scanned all twenty polaroid pictures I ever made. Today I want to show you four pictures. The first picture, in the upper left corner, shows the street in Cape Town I lived in for six weeks and in the background you see the a little blurred Table Mountain. I made the second picture, in the upper right corner, at my last photoshooting with Jacky, it's a little bit dark but I like the style. You already know the motive of the third picture at the lower left, which is the sea in snow were I also tested my grey filter. The last picture, at lower right, shows a forest in snow and the shadows of my boyfriend and me and I kind of really like it.
You don't have a lot of liberties in camera settings and something like that so I just made some pictures and waited what they will be like. I think they are a little bit dark, but they have this nice polaroid style that I also know from old polaroid pictures. That was pretty important for me and so I think they are really good, just as they are.
