Auf dem Stoffmarkt im September habe ich eine schöne Tasche entdeckt, die ich ebenfalls besitzen wollte, also habe ich mich erneut an einen weitere Tasche gesetzt. Eine Frau hat nie genug Taschen, also bei mir sind ja so gut wie keine zu finden, wirklich ;)Die Tasche ist wirklich sehr einfach genäht, dafür braucht man absolut kein Schnittmuster, nur die Maße für die Größe. Eigentlich besteht die Tasche nur aus einem großen Rechteck Wollfilz und durch rechteckige Seitenteilen, die unten abgerundet sind, wird das Rechteck zu einer Tasche. Die Maße meiner Tasche betragen 37x70cm. Seitenteile 30x14cm. Bevor man die Seitenteile anbringt, kommt auf die Front ein kleineres Rechteck aus Wachstuch, 24x65cm. Dadurch erhält man zwei Taschen auf jeder Taschenfront. Nun braucht man lediglich noch ein langes Stück Gurtband in einer beliebigen Farbe und Breite, bei mir ist es 2,5cm x 2,20m lang, und ein schönes Webband in der entsprechenden Länge, näht es zusammen und näht es anschließend auf die Tasche. Ich hatte kein Webband in der richtigen Länge, habe also zwei verschieden Webbänder zusammengenäht. Ich habe auch ein Stück Webband auf die obere gefaltete Kante des Wachstuchs genäht. Dann kann man auch schon die Seitenteile anbringen. Man sollte am besten die Mitte der Seitenteile un des Rechtecks markieren und die Markierungen aufeinandertreffen lassen, so passt am Ende alles zusammen. In meine Tasche passt recht viel rein, sogar eine 1,5 Liter Flasche findet Platz. Am Rand habe ich noch Kamsnaps angebracht, das macht die Tasche in gewisser Weise etwas sicherer. Aber auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt, der schon bald seine Pforten öffnet, werd ich die Tasche wohl nicht ausführen.
I discovered a beautiful felt bag at the fabric market, which of course I wanted to have, so I sat down an made it. A woman can never have enough bags, and it's not like I have hundreds of bags, just thirtysomething ;)
The bag is actually pretty easy to sew, you don't need a complicated pattern to make it, the only important thing is to know the size you want to make it. The bag really only consists of a large wool felt rectangle and two smaller rectangles for the sides, which are rounded at the bottom. My bag is 37x70cm large, the side pieces are 30x14cm. Before you attach the sides, you sew a smaller rectangle made from oil cloth on to the front of the felt, 24x65cm large. That way you get two pockets on the outside bag. Now you only need a long piece of belt strap, 2.5cm x 2.20m, and some pretty ribbon which you sew on to the belt strap. Make the belt strap into a long loop by sewing the ends together, then you sew the strap onto the bag. I didn't have any ribbon that was long enough, so I sewed two pretty ribbons together to meet the appropriate length. I also sewed a piece of ribbon onto the turned over edge of the oil cloth. Once that is done you can attach the side pieces. The easiest way to do this is to mark the middle of the side pieces and of the large rectangle and align the markings, so all fits together. The bag is quite big, even a 1.5 liter bottle fits inside. At the end I added kam snaps to the edge of the bag, so it is a little bit safer to carry around. But I definitely won't be taking it to the Christmas market with me, which will open very soon.
