Na, könnt ihr noch? Auf geht es zur letzten Runde in der MOYOU20k-Challenge. Heute ist Pink an der Reihe, was sich schön mit der Mädchenzeit bei Lackverliebt kombinieren lässt. Da ich in dieser Woche schon ESSENCE auf ESSENCE, ESSIE auf ESSIE und gestern erst OPI auf OPI gestempelt habe, ist heute P2 dran.
Passion (P2, Color Victim Nail Polish). Farbe & Finish: Mittleres, orangelastiges, grelles Pink mit Creme-Finish, also ein fast schon neonartiger Korallton. Auftrag: Gut. Die Textur ist mittlerweile pastig geworden, was den Auftrag eher streifig werden lässt und die Trockenzeit verlängert. Dennoch deckt die Farbe in zwei Schichten. Preis/Leistung: Sehr gut. Zwischen März 2011 und September 2013 war diese intensive Farbe im Rahmen des Color Victim Nail Polish-Standardardsortiments erhältlich. Die 8 ml kosteten damals schmale 1,55 Euro.
Ich bin nach wie vor kein großer Freund von Pink und daher steht auch diese Farbe schon seit über zwei Jahren ungetragen hier herum. Drei etwas ungleichmäßige Schichten Passion habe ich mit Hilfe eines Fächerpinsels mit Glamour (P2, Color Victim Nail Polish) und Strictly Private (P2, Color Victim Nail Polish) in der Distressed-Technik verziert. Anschließend habe ich ein weiteres Motiv der Pro Collection XL10 (MOYOU) in My Place Or Yours? (P2, Color Victim Nail Polish) gestempelt und das komplette ‘Wüstenrosendesign’ mit einer Schicht Mega Shine Top Coat (P2) versiegelt.
Today is the last day of the MOYOU20k challenge and I have to admit… I am glad about it. I love to do stamping designs but I also love to try out different techniques… and so I am somehow longing for striping tape. Nevertheless, since I did stamping designs with ESSENCE, ESSIE and OPI, I ‘had’ to choose P2 today. Fortunately, today’s colour is pink and I can showcase the polish alone at Mädchenzeit at Lackverliebt, too. My choice was Passion (P2, Color Victim Nail Polish), a vivid medium orange-tinted pink, an almost neon-like coral colour with creme finish. This polish has been discontinued since last year and was sitting in my stash for almost two years – untried. I had to apply three coats since the texture became quite viscous through time. Afterwards, I brushed on Glamour (P2, Color Victim Nail Polish) and Strictly Private (P2, Color Victim Nail Polish) using a fan brush and added a floral pattern of Pro Collection XL10 (MOYOU) in My Place Or Yours? (P2, Color Victim Nail Polish). Eventually, I sealed the design with one coat of Mega Shine Top Coat (P2).
