When bloggers meet, they always have a camera on hand to snap some pictures of each other’s outfit. Well, that’s exactly what Bibi from the amazing blog “Bibi Goes Chic” and I did a couple of weeks ago. We met up at Hally’s on New Kings Rd – a very instagramable little place in the west of London. If you ever happen to be there, make sure to sit down and have a drink or a snack. After the awkward first blind-date feeling vanished, we had a coffee, talked and gossiped about the Londoner Blogger Scene (very new territory for me!) before we ventured outside to take these pictures. Since we met for the first time, I wanted to wear something cool yet something I feel myself most comfortable with wearing it. Those palazzo pants are the most comfortable pants I own while being the most stylish ones I own. Mine seem to be sold out, but I saw a very similar pair on Esprit. Fun fact about that look: I actually wore that outfit a few weeks back ago. Back then I was heading out the apartment to a pub to meet some friends. After days of seeing me only wearing my sweatpants, my flat mate seemed to be a bit irritated to see me in regular clothes again and popped the compliment that my outfit looks really nice. Obviously, I had to wear it another time and make sure to capture it for the blog after that said compliment. Somehow I don’t really know if he really liked the outfit or more the fact that I finally got out of my sweats. But in the end, I still like that combo and would wear it again immediately. How do you like it? Compliment-worthy or not? Wenn Blogger sich treffen ist immer mindestens eine Kamera mit dabei, damit man gegenseitig ein paar Outfitbilder von einander schießen kann und genauso war es auch als ich mich vor zwei Wochen mit Bibi von dem Blog „Bibi Goes Chic“ getroffen habe. Wir waren in einem kleinen, ziemlich Insti-tauglichen Laden namens Hally’s auf der New King’s Road verabredet. Falls ihr nach coolen Locations in London sucht, die nicht zu den gängigen Touri-Zielen gehören, solltet ihr das Hally’s ansteuern! Da wir uns zum ersten Mal getroffen haben, wollte ich etwas cooles tragen, das gleichzeitig aber richtig bequem ist ohne mir die ganze Zeit Sorgen machen zu müssen, ob alles richtig sitzt. Blind Dates jeglicher Art machen einen ja schließlich schon nervös genug! Diese schwarzen Palazzo Pants sind einfach genau der richtige Helfer in solchen Situationen. Sie sehen toll aus und sind gleichzeitig super bequem. Meine sind online nicht mehr verfügbar, aber ich habe auf Esprit ein ganz ähnliches Modell gesehen. Fun Fact über mein Outfit: Genau diese Kombination habe ich schon vor einigen Wochen getragen als ich mit meinen Freundinnen im Pub verabredet war. Nachdem mein Mitbewohner mich mehrere Tage nur noch in meiner Jogginghose am Schreibtisch hat sitzen sehen, war er sichtlich irritiert mich in gewöhnlicher Klamotte vorzufinden, sodass ich glatt ein Kompliment für meinen Look bekam. Klar, dass ich die Kombination nochmal tragen musste, um sie auch für euch festzuhalten, oder? Ich weiß zwar nicht, ob ihm der Look tatsächlich gefallen hat oder mehr der Fakt, das ich endlich aus den Joggern raus bin… Ist letztendlich aber auch egal, denn mir gefällt’s zumindest immer noch richtig gut und euch? outfit_palazzo_happiness_boutique_5
