OUTFIT – WHITE CULOTTES.

Es gibt diese gewissen Trends, die ich erst ein Mal aus der Ferne beobachte. Abwäge: ja, nein, vielleicht? Wird es mir stehen? Werde ich mich darin wohlfühlen? Ein solcher Trend war zum Beispiel der Hype um die adidas Stan Smith Sneaker. Ein anderer waren Culottes. Die gekürzten Hosen sind schon etwas länger auf diversen Blogs, Instagramaccounts und Streetstyle Shots zu finden, aber lange genug war ich nicht mutig genug. Ich habe mich nicht mal gewagt, sie anzuprobieren. Aber das hat sich jetzt alles geändert. Zum Glück.
There are those trends I need to observe at first. I weigh between yes, maybe or simply no. Will I be able to pull this look off? How will I wear it? Such a trend has been the immense hype around the adidas Stan Smith sneaker. Another one are culottes. These shorten pants are around now for quite a while. You see them in various combination on blogs, Instagram-accounts and street style shots. For a very long time I was not brave enough to wear them. Not to mention I haven’t even tried them on in a shop. Well, it all changed now. Luckily.
Anfangs dachte ich, Culottes müssen von Normalsterblichen mit hohen Schuhen getragen werden, um zu kaschieren, dass unsere Beine nicht wie bei Topmodels bis in den Himmel ragen. Doch weit gefehlt! Mit flachen Schuhen – gerne wie hier bei mir mit Schnürschuhen – werden Culottes alltagstauglich und sehen richtig cool aus. Was meint ihr?
First, I though culottes need to be worn with high heels to stretch our legs and make them comparable to supermodel legs. Well, how wrong I was!! Culottes look super easy and chilled with flat shoes – preferably with laced shoes just like mine. What do you think?
Schwarz und weiß ist und bleibt einer meiner Lieblingskombinationen. Diese Kombo funktioniert einfach immer und sieht zusätzlich einfach immer elegant aus. Falls ihr mal wieder nichts zum anziehen im Schrank habt, probiert meine Nummer-Sicher-Kombination mal aus!
Black and white is and always will be my favorite combination of all times. This combo is so easy and works no matter what. The best thing? You’ll always look elegant with not much effort or thought put into your outfit.
