Auch Orly hat eine Weihnacht Set für die kommende Festtagen. Obwohl ich immer die mini bevorzuge die ein um so grösser Geschenk beinhaltet. Dieses mal ist es nicht so spannend; es gibt eine mini-kleine cloutch!! Es passt mein Handy und ein bisschen Münze aber auch nicht viel mehr. Schade.
Auf die einzelne Farbe habe ich mich schon in Vorfeld gefreut, vor allem an der Glitter/Foul Glanz einige Farben. Ja nun zu Analyse!!
Orly hat der patentierte und vielfach ausgezeichnete Gripper Cap entwickelt: die Verschlußkappe ermöglicht nicht nur ein superschnelles Öffnen, sondern vor allem eine makellose und akkurate Anwendung des Nagellackes. Ich würde allerdings eine dickere Pinsel begrüßen.
Candy Cane Lane ist eine vibrierende heisse rot, der Classiker für Weihnacht, Ich finde es sexy.
Glitz & Glamour eine aufregende Gold mit foil Lackierung (foil ist ein Fachbegriff um das ebenmäßige metallic wieder zu geben, eine alternative zu Minx). Ich würde nicht enttäuscht, dieser Farbe erinnerter mich an OPI Rising Star, ist aber viel mehr glitzernd. Ich liebe dieser Farbe!!
Nouthy or Nice ein sehr dunkel Burgundy Violet. Der Finish (lackierung) ist cream, voll pigmentiert und gut aussehend auf helle Haut.
Rockin' Rocket ist ein duo-chrome: violett mit orange. Dieser Bild unten bring gar nicht zu Geltung was für eine aufregende Farbe Rockin’ Rocket tatsächlich ist. Ich habe versucht passende Bilder zu machen aber es wiederspiegelt nicht was es in Wahrheit ist. Es muss unbedingt ausprobiert werden.
Winter Wonderland ist Glitzer-transparent!! Alleine taugt dieser Farbe nichts, aber als Überlack zu Candy Cane Lane oder zu Noughty or Nice ist ein richtige hin Gucker.
Meet me under the mistletoe Grün ist nach wie vor auf der Vormarsch. Ich wundere mich wie lange dieser Trend noch anhaltet. Ich finde es immer spannend ein neue grün zu entdecken und da bin schön wieder verzaubert. Ein tiefes Smaragd grün mit silberne Glitzer Partikeln. Aufgetragen ist einfach fantastisch.
Unter der Strich: Das Foil touch in ein paar dieser Farben mache es leicht seine Favoriten herauszupicken. Glitz & Glamour und Meet me under the mistletoe sind absoluten Must have für mich. Die 2 cream sind ok für Weihnacht. Rockin’ Rocket ist zwar aufregend aber der Grundfarbe (malvafarbe) ist ein no-go auf meine Nägel und Winter Wonderland ist nur schön wenn als überlack benutzt wird.
Orly ‘Tis the Season Holiday 2010 Collection kommt in September auf dem Markt, allerdings ist erst ab November in der Schweiz erhältlich und kann in ausgewählte Nail Studio gekauft werden oder kann bei mir für Fr. 20.- + Porto gekauft werden.
Bitte bedenkt dass die Farbe leicht abweichen kann abhängig von der Auflösung und Kalibrierung ihren Bildschirm.
Orly has to a X-mas set for the coming Holidays. Altought I prefer the mini laquers with big presents, I was suprised to see normal size lacquer with mini present: the tiny-little clutch doesn’t even have space for a big wallet. What a pity!
I was very excidet to ear that Orly will launch more Foil finish colours, and again I wasen’t at all disappointed. Let’s see this colours!!

Candy Cane Lane the classic x-mas red. Nothing special: a plain cream red is always sexy to look at.
Glitz & Glamour is my absolut favorit. The exciting Foil finsih on this colour make’s it difficult not loving it. It reminde me of OPI Rising Star but Glitz & Glamour has much more shine to it. Just fabulous.
Nouthy or Nice a very dark burgundy violet with a cream finishing. Good pigmentation and coverage, it’s look flashy on pale skin tone.
Rockin' Rocket a duo-chrome: mauve and orange. The picture doesn’t bring a bit of this faboulous colour. To bad it has a mauve base, Me and mauve are not best friends.
Winter Wonderland a sheer-clear finish!! Alone is a eugh, but if used as a top coat for example on Candy Cane Lane is just right for x-mas. It remembers me of snow flackes.
Meet me under the mistletoe: a green, again!! I just wonder how long this trend will last. Don’t get me wrong, I love greens. I am always thrilled to discover a new heu that does’t meet the other that I have. This emerald green is packed with silver and green glitter. On the nails is terrific.
The bottom line: The foil finsh makes it easy to find my favorites. Glitz & Glamour and Meet me under the mistletoe are absolut Must-have for me. The 2 cream are ok for x-mas, Rockin’ Rocket is beautiful but the base colour (mauve) makes it a no-go on my nails and Winter Wonderland is ok when used as a top coat.
Orly ‘Tis the SeasonHoliday Collection has been launched already in Septembre but in Switzerland is only availabe starting from late Nobember 2010. The lacquer can be find in selected Nail Studios or can be rentd for a week to me for Fr. 6.95 + shipping.
