Wir haben zwar Sommer, ich habe auch noch ein Paar swatches die ich vorstellen möchte.
It’s summer, but I have some swatches that I wanted to present.
Die Precious Kollektion war lange eine „ich weiss nicht“ Kandidat. Ich habe es in Düsseldorf des ersten Males gesehen und war ein bisschen enttäuscht. Zu Hause angekommen habe ich lange hin und her gezögert ob ich sie haben will oder nicht bis ich endlich sie bestellt habe. Und am schuss bin ich doch zufrieden damit.
I saw the Precious Collection for the first time in Düsseldorf and it did'nt get to me. Back home I thought long about ordering the colors, but in the end I purchase them. And I am happy to have taken this decision.
PURE PORCELAIN
Der Name verrät wie die Farbe ist, porzellanhaft. Ist ein cream mit ein leichte rosa unterton. Auf meine Finger sieht es viel zu kalkartig. Nicht mein Favorit.
The name comes thought the color, real pocelain. A cream with a light pink heu in the base. On my fingers looks to chalky. Not my favorit.
ROYAL VELVET
Der Farbe des Royal ist violett und nicht rot wie viel denke (nach der rote Teppich). In der Flasche sieht es mehr blau aus aber bei der erste schickt ist mir klar geworden warum dieser Lack so heisst. Es ist violett mit eine blau Schimmer, es ist ein bisschen sheer, ich braucht 3 schickten um eine gute Abdeckung zu erzielen.
The color of the royals is violet and not red like most think of (after the red carpet). In the bottle it seems to be blue but after the first coat I realize the meaning of his name. It’s a shimmer sheer violet and I needed 3 coats for good coverage.
GILDED CORAL
Die basis ist hell korall, der Schimmer ist goldgelb; die Kombination gelungen! Es hat was frostiges, da es sind deutliche Pinselstriche zu erkennen sind aber in grosse und ganze einen schönen Farbe für der Frühling und ich sehe auch gut für der Hochzeitstag.
The base is a pale coral, the shimmer is yellow-gold, the combination works! It has a frost touch to it because of the visible brush strokes but in my eyes is still a very nice color for spring and I can see it at the wedding days.
FANCY FUCHSIA
Es gibt Farben in dieser riesige Nagellack Welt die sofort zu Kopf gehen. Eine dieser Farbe ist Fancy Fuchsia, knall pink, '80 Jahre-look-alike, Neon mit ein Satin Finish. Die Formulierung ist nicht gerade meins, es ist ein bisschen zu dickflüssig und lässt sich schwer ab der Pinsel lösen. Ich kann mich es gut auf Blondinen vorstellen.
Every now and then there a color in the big universe of lacquers that takes you just from the beginning. One of this color is Fancy Fuchsia: hot pink, very '80 look-alike, neo and with a satin finish. The formula is not as good as the color, a bit to thick and not easy to apply. I think it will look great on blondes.
ANCIENT JADE
Wunderschönen Jadegrün, es hat ein Tick an türkis was aber nicht an Charme verliert. Ich liebe grün und ich freue mich dass dieser Natur Farbe immer hoch in Kurs liegt. Ich wünsche mir mehr grün auf dieser Welt.
A beautyfull jade green, it has a bit turquoise to it but not enouth in order to loose charm. I love green and I am happy to see that is still hot. I wish more green in this world.
SAPPHIRE SILK
Petrol ist so eine Farbe: entweder liebt man es oder hasst es. Es gibt keine Mittelmass. Ich gehöre zu der Sorte die Petrol nicht toll findet. Ist aber meine persönliche Geschmack. Wer aber zu der andere Gruppe gehört kann sich an Sapphire Silk freuen. Petrol nach Bilderbuch.
Teal is one of those colors that you love or hate, nothing in between. I am not a teal lover, this is my personal taste. For those who love teal, Sapphire Silk is the perfect cream teal.
Deckkraft und Textur: Diese Kollektion erhält viele verschiedene Formulierungen, dickflüssig wie Pure Porcelain und Fancy Fuchsia, cream und geschmeidig wie Ancien Jade und Sapphire Silk, sheer wie Royal Velvet und auch geschmeidig wie Gilden Coral. Die Deckkraft ist optimal bei jede dieser kollektion und die dickflüssie texture vom die erste zwei lass zu wünsche übrig. Ich bin nicht von Orly gewohnt an solche formulierung.
Opacity and texture: this collection has lots of different formula: thick like Pure Porcelain and Fancy Fuchsia, smooth like Ancien Jade, Gilden Coral and Sapphire Silk, a bit sheer link Royal Velvet. The opacity is great on all of them. I am not use to this thickness by Orly, I hope this is a one -time experience.
Unter der Strich: Ich hatte mich viel zu viel auf Pure Porcelain gefreut, und jetzt bin ich enttäuscht, nicht nur vor Farbe aber vom allem wegen die Formulierung die zum Glück nur in 2 von 6 wiederspiegelt. Royal Velvet ist eine gelungene Überraschung und Gilden Coral hat mich nicht enttäuscht. Ich liebe es! Ancien Jade ist auch sehr schön. Im grosse und ganze ist dieser Kollektion gelungen, vor allem weil jeder Name zu der Farbe genau passt.
The bottom line: I was discouraged about Pure Porcelain, not really what I expected. The thickness in the formula is a no-go. Fortunately the formula doesn't go to the whole collection. A positive surprise is surely Royal Velvet and I am happy to see that Gilden Coral did come up to my expectations and I love Ancien Jade. This collection is in the end exactly what it comes up to: Precious.
