Also es ist offiziell: OPI kehrt zurück nach Hause! Nach Jahrelangen Reisen als Gast in andere Länder hat sie endlich wieder der Weg in der Heimat gefunden. Was für Farben! Was von tolle finishing’s. Ich habe immer die Formulierung von OPI geliebt, weil sie deckend ist, einfach aufzutragen und schnell in der Trocknung. In diese Kollektion probiert OPI neue wegen, die Zauberwort heiss: „Jelly“ Mehr demnächst.
OPI ist ja bekannt für gemischte Kollektion: glitter, shimmer, sheer, creme und eben jelly (Gel artig)
Heute möchte die crème vorstellen. Crème sind die bekanntesten deckende lacken, sie sind ohne jegliche shimmer oder glitter, sind meistens dicker in der Konsistenz und eben cremig beim Auftragen. Je nach Marke kann sie mehr oder weniger glänzend sein.
San Tan-tonio (beige crème)
Ich wüsste beim ersten blick das dieser Farbe für mich ein Muss sein wird!! Ein „nude“ Karamell Farbe die aber nicht gelblich wirkt. Erinnerte mich sofort an die Karamellbonbons von Werther’s. Zum Anbeissen.
Suzi Loves Cowboys (braun crème)
Die creme‘s von dieser Kollektion sind ganz meiner Geschmack und als Bekennerin braun Liebhaberin kann ich nur dies fabelhaften braun lieben. Hat viel gemeinsam mit Essie Little Brown Dress, aber heller. Ich liebe es!
Don’t Mess With OPI (grün crème)
Und schön wieder einer grün!! Es erstaunt mich das der „grün-Trend“ immer noch anhaltet. Dieser grün hat jedoch ein Hauch von schwarz damit es nicht so auffallend und leider wirkt er auf mich ein bisschen traurig. Schade, ich hätte mich wieder ein tolles grün gewünscht.
Textur: flüssig, cremig.
Deckkraft: sehr gute deck kraft, 2 schickten genügen um eine gute Opazität zu erhalten, ich empfähle 3 schickten. Bitte unter und über lack nicht vergessen.
Unter der Strich: ganz nach OPI Tradition, die crème dieser Kollektion sind leicht und wunderschön . In der Formulierung sind sie geschmeidig beim aufzutragen, selb-levelierend und glänzen im finishing. Ich hätte mir vom grünes Don’t mess with OPI mehr erhofft, finde aber der Karamell beige San Tan-tonio traumhaft wie auch der dunkel braunes Suzi Loves Cowboys. Mein absoluter Liebling ist sicher San Tan-tonio und ich kann nicht erwarte es zu tragen. Ich kann mich gut vorstellen wie es aussieht auf der Füsse mit braun bronzierte Haut.
Launch: Texas Kollektion ist erhältlich ab 02 Februar in der USA, auf dem Schweizer Markt kann ab Ende Februar erhältlich und kann in ausgewählte Nail Studio gekauft werden oder kann bei mir für Fr. 23.- + Porto bestellt werden.

Now it’s official! OPI goes back Home. After years of traveling all over the world, she finally find the path to the homeland. And she comes for good: with wonderful creams, lovely shimmer and brand new jellys. More about jellys coming up soon. So stay tuned.
Today I present you the creams. Crème is the most popular finish; they don’t have any glitter or shimmer whatsoever. Most of them have very god opacity and are mostly thick and creamy in texture. They are more or less shinny depending on the brand and formula.
San Tan-tonio (beige crème)
I folled in love in this color at the moment it first appearance on the net. This nude caramel beige with no yellowish touch reminds me of caramel candy’s I love: Weather’s Original. Just delicious.
Suzi Loves Cowboys (brown crème)
The crèmes in this collection are just my taste and as a brown lover I have to love this dark chocolate brown. It has something like Essie Little Brown Dress that I still adore, just a bit lighter. I adore it
Don’t Mess With OPI (green crème)
And again let’s welcome the new green!! I am still amazed that green is going so good these days. Although I have to admit that Don’t mess with OPI disappoint me a ‘bit, maybe because it has a hue of black that make this green seem sad. Too bad.
Texture: fluid and creamy
Opacity: the crèmes have very god opacity just with 2 coats, although I suggest 3 coats. Don’t forget a base and topcoat, please!
The bottom line: as OPI tradition, the crèmes are smooth and beautiful. I expected more from the green Don’t mess with OPI, but on the other side I just adore the other 2 crèmes. I love the brown Suzi Loves Cowboys but my absolute sweetie is the gorgeous beige San Tan-tonio. Just can’t wait to wear it on my toes this summer when my legs are nice and brown.
Launch: The Texas Collection has been launched already at the 2nd February in the US. Here in Switzerland is only available starting from late February 2011. The lacquer can be find in selected Nail Studios or can be order by me for Fr. 23.- plus shipping cost.
