Das erste Mal das ich dieser Kollektion in Internet gesehen habe war ich überrascht zu erfahren dass dies zu den Brights gehört! Pastell Farben bei der Brights? Noch dazu inspiriert nach der gleichnamige Film mit Johnny Depp! Kpt. Sparrow mit Pastell… eh weniger. Mit Widerwille habe ich dieser Kollektion gekauft auch weil ich finde sie ist eine der langweiligste dass OPI in der letzte Jahre lanciert hat.Es ist meine persönliche Meinung und ich stehe dazu: was jemand gefällt ist der andere leid.Hier die Farben
Mermaid‘s Tears:
salbei-grün, creme. Für mich als grün-junkie ein Muss, es ist aber der ansehnlich Farbe dieser Kollektion. Objektiv gesehen eine sehr schöne Grün.
Stranger Tides:
hell grau, creme. Es hat ein Hauch von grün in der Base die es sehr „militärisch“ macht. Die graue Farbe sind nach wie vor nicht meins, an dieser grau-grün könnte ich mich anfreunden aber nur mit einem Shatter, allein is mir zu blass.
Planks a lot:
lavender, cream. Sehr schönes Violett, ober besser lavendel. Auf meiner von Sonne gebräunten Hände sieht es nicht toll aus, ich denke aber auf blonde steht dieser violett sehr gut.
Sparrow me the Drama:
pastel pink, cream. Das ist sicher eine der schönsten in dieser schmutzigen Kollektion. Es hat nicht so viel schwarz Anteil in der Base als die andere. 
Steady as she rose:
rosé, cream. Ein sehr helles schmutziger rosa. Gute Formulierung, die Farbe allein ist nicht so spannend, mit schwarzes Shatter sieht ganz anders aus.
Skull & Glossbones:
hell-grau-weiss, creme. Wenn ihr mein blogg regelmässig liest, wies das ich nicht für halbe Farbe übrig haben: grau gehört dazu. Der Farbe ist nicht meins, ist ein schmutziger weiss, ich würde es nicht als hellgrau bezeichnen. Die Konsistenz ist so la la. Mir gefällt es gar nicht, wer aber schmutziger Farbe liebt wir dieser Farbe lieben. 
Deckkraft und Textur: Die Formulierung ist nicht schlecht, es gibt allerdings unterschieden. Plank a lot ist sehr dünnflüssig, Skull & Glossbones ist sehr dickflüssig, alle andere haben eine gute Textur. Bei alle waren 2 schickten genug um gute Opazität zu erzielen.
Unter der Strich: Ich bleibe dabei: Langweilig!! Was mir aber am meistens stört ist der Höhe schwarz Anteil die alle 6 Farben in der Base haben. Meine Meinung nach sind die 3 helle Farbe grässlich, zum Glück gibt es die 3 farbige, rosa, lavendel und grün die sich noch in Extremist retten können. Ich denke das dieser Kollektion mit der Silver-Shatter konzipiert wurden die ich aber nicht gekauft habe, weil ich erlich Shatter mir nicht gefällt. Habe jedoch alle Farben mit der Schwarzes-Shatter ausprobiert, und das Resultat ist ok.
Launch: Private of the Caribbean Collection ist erhältlich ab 13 Mai 2011 auf dem Markt und kann in ausgewählte Nail Studio gekauft werden.
Bitte bedenkt dass die Farbe leicht abweichen kann abhängig von der Auflösung und Kalibrierung ihren Bildschirm.
OPI Pirates of the Caribbean Brights 2011 Collection
The first time I saw this colors on the Internet I was a bit confused: pastel for this year’s Brights? Inspired after the same named Movie! Cpt. Jack Sparrow in pastel?...eh, I don’t think so! With averseness I order the lacquer, which in my eyes is one of the most boring collections that OPI lunched in the last years.
This is my personal opinion, so let’s see these boring colors.
Mermaid‘s Tears, sage-green, cream. I am a green junkie, so this hast to be a must for me and indeed it is one of the nicest colors in this collection. Stranger Tides: pale-grey, cream. It has a hint of green in the base that gives it a military touch. I really don’t like greys; I could make friends with this one but only with a Shatter. Planks a lot: lavender, cream. Very nice violet, or should I say lavender! My hands are bronzed at the moment and this lavender doesn’t match with them. I could swear that on blondes it will look much better. Sparrow me the Drama: pastel pink, cream. Truly the nicest in this boring collection maybe because it doesn’t have as much black in the base. I would like to know how many Sparrow me the Drama has been sold ‘til now. Steady as she rose: rose, cream. A very pale rose with good Formula. I wonder how it will look like with the silver-shatter. With black is really not too bad. Skull & Glossbones: very pale grey, cream. If you are a regular reader of this blog you know that I don’t like half-colors and gray is one of them. I really don’t care about this color; it seems more like a muted white and not like a grey. The texture is also not so good. But if you love greys and muted white, maybe this color could be a “must have” for you. Opacity & Texture: The texture is not bad, but they are differences. Plank a lot is very thin, Skull & Glossbones is very thick. The other are OK in texture. I applied by all 6 lacquer 2 coats to have a very good opacity. The bottom line: I stick to it: boring!! What bathers me the most is the high black ratio in all the 6 colors. I think that the pale are horrible and the 3 colored lacquer are ok. If I have to choose one of them as my favorite I will choose neither of them, not even the green. I believe this collection has been designed to work with the silver-shatter witch I didn’t buy because I really don’t like the shatter, but I tried all the colors with the black-shatter and the result is better than the color alone.
Launch: Private of the Caribbean Collection will be available starting May 13 2011 in Switzerland. The lacquer can be found in selected Nail Studios. Please consider that the colors can differ from the reality depending on the resolution and calibration of you screen.
