D Heute stelle ich euch das neue Baby in der Kamerafamilie vor: meine Instax mini 8, die lang ersehnte Polaroidkamera. Sie ist leider nicht wie gewünscht eine alte Polaroidkamera, bringt aber ihre Vorteile mit sich, die Filme sind nämlich relativ günstig erhältlich - und werden auch erhältlich bleiben. Gezahlt habe ich für das gute Stück an meinem letzten Morgen in Kapstadt R1000 (etwa 72€) inklusive zweier Filme. Die Kamera hat eine 60mm Festbrennweite, errechnet sich selbst das Umgebungslicht und zeigt es mit einem roten Licht an und hat einen Einbaublitz. Die Bilder sind - wie ihr auf dem Foto seht - kleiner als übliche Polaroidbilder und haben ein praktisches Kreditkartenformat. Den Film einzulegen ist super einfach und ist - anders als bei analogen Kameras - total idiotensicher. Die erhältlichen Farben finde ich auch ziemlich cool und habe mich dann für lila entschieden. Die Kamera ist sehr robust und leicht, was ich super klasse finde, da man sie daher auch an Orte mitnehmen kann, wo ich meine digitale nie mitnehmen würde, wie zum Beispiel wenn man abends weggeht.
Ich finde die Idee von Fujifilm Polaroids wieder zum Leben zu erwecken richtig cool und ich finde sie haben es klasse und zu einem anständigen Preis umgesetzt, ich freue mich schon auf die vielen tollen Fotos, die ich damit schießen werde.

E Today I want to show you my new baby in the camera family: the instax mini 8, my long desiderated Polaroid camera. It's not like I wished one of the old vintage Polaroid camera, but it has some pretty nice advantages, like that there are still films available and they are not that expensive. I bought the camera with two films for R1000, that's about 72€. The camera has a 60mm fixed local length, an integrated flash and it can figure the ambient light out. The photos are, like you see on the picture, smaller than normal Polaroid pictures, they have the size of a credit card. It's super easy to insert the film and - not like analog cameras - foolproof. I like, that they have so many different colors and I make the choice of a purple one. I also like, that it's really lightweight and sturdy, what is pretty nice to take it to places, where I wouldn't bring my digital camera, like when I go out at night.
To sum up I just love the idea of Fujifilm to make Polaroid cameras alive again and they implemented the idea really good and to a decent price. I look forward to all the nice photos I will make with it in the future.
