Ich bin überzeugter und ganzjähriger Fahrradfahrer und würde selbst im tiefsten Winter mit Schnee auf den Straßen überall hinfahren, wenn mir das dann doch nicht etwas zu unsicher wäre. Nun sind wir leider wieder in einer Jahreszeit angekommen, wo es die meiste Zeit draußen trübe und nass ist. Also war es mal wieder an der Zeit einen neuen Sattelschutz anzufertigen, der dazu noch die trübe Stimmung mit heiteren Farben vertreibt. Den oberen Sattel habe ich für mich aus einem schönen Elefantenwachstuch und Kunstleder angefertigt, innen ist eine lila Plasiktischdecke. Der untere Sattelschutz ist der meiner Mutter mit blumenverziertem und polkadot Wachstuch, auch hier ist im Inneren die lila Plastiktischdecke verarbeitet. Alle Stoffe, außer der lilanen Tischdecke kommen vom Holland Stoffmarkt.
I am an avid and all weather cyclist and would even drive during the coldest winter with deep snow covering the streets, if I didn't feel that it was a little too unsafe. We have sadly arrived in a season which is mostly dull and wet. So it was time to make a new saddle cover that will cast away this dreary mood with bright colours. The cover at the top is my new saddle cover made from elephant oil cloth and faux leather, inside is a lilac plastic tablecloth. The cover at the bottom is for my mother made from a flower covered and polkadot oil cloth, I also used lilac plastic tablecloth on the inside. All of the fabrics are from the fabric market apart from the lilac tablecloth.
