I do not live far away from Munich (and my office is there too) and I think it would be nice to let you know about some lovely spaces every now and then. If you already seen the tourist stuff and want to move on these spots are the perfect next level! Let’s start with a real treasure - the Botanical Garden. Hidden behind the well known Castle of Nymphenburg with its huge park and broad lawns you’ll find the Botanical Garden. It’s like you enter a new world with patches full of plants stretching into narrow paths. Somewhat enchanted and the air filled with the scent of strange flowers – it’s absolutely lovely! I’ve been there a couple of days ago when the weather was not very much summerly. And believe me - even on a bit rainy day it’s very lovely. Be sure to check it out next time you stay in Munich!
Ich wohne in der Nähe von München (und arbeite auch dort), da lag die Idee nahe hier immer mal wieder ein paar schöne Orte in dieser wundervollen Stadt vorzustellen. Gerade wenn Ihr schon mal da wart und die klassischen Touri-Spots kennt, dann hab ich sicher noch die eine oder andere Überraschung für Euch. Starten möchte ich mit dem wundervollen Botanischen Garten.
Ein wenig versteckt liegt er, ganz in der Nähe des bekannten Schloßes Nymphenburg, zu welchem ein weitläufiger Park gehört. Der Botanische Garten ist dann ein echtes Kontrast-Programm - fast schon überladen, wie die vielen heimischne und exotischen Pflanzen in die schmalen Wege hineinwachsen. Die Luft ist gefüllt mit dem Geruch von Erde und vielen Blumen - einfach zauberhaft!
Ich war schon einige Male dort, und hatte immer das Gefühl in eine andere Welt einzutauchen. Genau wie vor ein paar Tagen bei meinem letzten Besuch. Das Wetter war nicht besonders sommerlich, aber gerade da war es besonders toll. Ich denke, die Bilder sprechen für sich und Ihr schaut beim nächsten München-Trip mal vorbei - der Botanische Garten ist definitiv sehenswert.
