Zum Thema, zur Künstlerin ist eigentlich schon alles gesagt (stimmt natürlich, sagt man wiederum nur so), das Video von Mathangi „Maya“ Arulpragasam aka. M.I.A. zu ihrem Song "Borders" dreht jedenfalls gerade im Netz die große Runde. Und das ist gut so. Denn hier werden Anspielungen durch Ansagen ersetzt, heraus kommen Bilder und Worte, die an Deutlichkeit kaum etwas zu wünschen übrig lassen. Den Clip hat M.I.A. im Übrigen selbst gedreht - das dazugehörige Album "Matahdatah", so hört man, ist Anfang kommenden Jahres zu erwarten.
