Heute startet die Mekong Expo 2011. Sie wird dieses Jahr in Can Tho stattfinden, im Can Tho International Fai Centre. Sie dauert vom 28.04. - 04.05.2011. Gerade findet die offizielle Eröffnung mit vielen geladenen Gästen statt (live im TV bei THTPCT).
Auf der Expo werden neue Produkte, Technik und Maschinen ausgestellt und man kann sich dort über neue Trends auf diesen Gebieten informieren. Ich war noch nie auf einer vietnamesischen "Expo", so dass ich nicht sagen kann, was mich sonst dort noch erwarten wird. Ich kann mich erinnern, als Kind mit meinen Eltern mal auf einer ähnlichen Veranstaltung in Wetzlar gewesen zu sein (Rindsmarkt? Kuhmarkt? Weiß den Namen nicht mehr...). Da war neben vielen Traktoren und anderen Maschinen auch Rummel und Flohmarkt. Was zu Essen wird es hier allemal geben!
Today is the opening of the Mekong Expo 2011. It is held this year in Can Tho, in the Can Tho International Fair Centre and lasts from 28.04. - 04.05.2011. In the moment the opening ceremony is held with many Vip guests (live in the TV).
The Expo presents new products and technology, machines and everybody can visit and inform about new trends on this topic. I never have been on a Vietnamese "Expo", so I do not really know what I will see there. I remember that, as a child, I went with my parents on a similar fair in Germany. I could see many machines, but also a fun fair and jumble sale. I am sure, at least, something to eat will be there!
