“The ‘protagonist’ – finally stripped of his last thread of hope – storms around bitterly snatching items that relate to his past in the hope that collectively they might help piece together what went wrong. Instead he’s just left in a loop of his own guilt and remorse, a prisoner in his own mind replaying his memories over and over repeatedly in a futile quest to peel back the episodes and – perhaps – re-discover his ‘sweet flower’.“
