//There is one single good thing about living in a city that isn’t a fashion capital: You don’t have to wait in line to get one of the popular designer pieces from the H&M designer collaborations. I know it's hard to believe but I arrived at H&M at 10am and I was in there with only 20 more people. Out of this 20 people 15 knew what was going on and the others asked questions like „Why is H&M now selling collars for cows?“, “This sweater looks like it is made out of socks!” or “What this jacket costs € 300,00. Why?” next to me. True story.I was looking forward to the Martin Maison Margiela collaboration since I read about it the first time. I was especially impressed by all their media work (as H&M always does for their collaborations with designers. Do you remember the Versace video? I loved it.) and the pre-launch event they did in New York. They picked up the whole mystery of the label very well at the event and created a very artistic atmosphere. Was I there!? Oh I wish. But no I wasn’t. I watched and read some reviews about it at home, in my small town, on my coach, like I always do. Yes, you can feel sorry for me now.H&M makes designer fashion affordable for an average girl like me and this is what I love about this concept. In fact to that I took the chance and got my two favorite pieces of the MMMxH&M collection: The narrow-shouldered jacket and the open clasp watch bracelet. The jacket was really worth the money not only because it’s Margiela, the quality is really impressing and also the clothes bag in which it came fascinated me (as you can see on the following pictures). And I’m really excited that a new designer is attending my arm partys from now on – the Margiela bracelet. Ain’t no party like an arm party!
