Ihr kennt mittlerweile die zwei Dinge, die ich am meisten liebe: 1. London und 2. Brunchen. Angenommen die beiden Liebeleien kommen zusammen, was gibts dann? Richtig, eine ziemlich happy Vicky!
Vor nicht allzu langer Zeit war ich nochmal in der britischen Hauptstadt für ein paar Tage zu Besuch. Ich wollte unbedingt das in Notting Hill gelegene „Farm Girl Cafè“ austesten. Also habe ich mir Lauri & Lillie geschnappt und es wurde ausgiebig gebruncht. Vorneweg: es war wirklich super lecker, das Interieur war fabelhaft und das Personal wirklich aufmerksam. Das Einzige was und (und auch alle anderen) gestört hat war, dass es unfassbar kalt war. Gemütliches langes Sitzen war somit Fehlanzeige und muss dann auf den Sommer verschoben werden. Aber dann ist es sicherlich der Ort to be!

Not too long ago, I took yet another short trip to the Brits‘ capital. During those few days, I wanted to try out the Farm Girl Café in the heart of Notting Hill. I grabbed Lauri & Lillie and off we went heading down to the café for a brunch. The food was delicious, the interior once again amazing and staff attentive and friendly. We loved it! One aspect, however, made it a bit uncomfortable to stay there: it was bitter cold inside (almost as cold as outside!). We were not the only ones sitting in the café wearing our jackets. But I’m sure it’s the place to be for summer brunches.

Located just on the famous Portobello Road, Farm Girl Café is the perfect place to start your day before your throw yourself into the fray called Portobello Market.
Mit Gurke oder Minze fusionierte Wasserkaraffen, frische Rosen und Fliesen in so wunderschönen Blautönen, wie man es eigentlich nur vom Meer kennt. Die Gründer sind Australier und auch wenn ich bisher noch nie in Australien war, genau so stell ich mir das kleine süße Café in Melbourne oder am australischen Strand vor!
Cucumber or mint infused water, fresh roses and tiles so colorful you might mistake them for the ocean. Farm Girl’s founder are two Australians and even though I haven’t been down under yet, this is how I imagine a cute coffee place in Melbourne or right by the Australian beaches!
Frisches Obst an den Wänden, die obligatorische Avocado auf dem Toast zusammen mit einem pochierten Ei und natürlich auch eine leckere Acai-Bowl, die nach Belieben mit verschiedenen Superfoods gefüllt werden kann. Daumen hoch für das kleine Australien inmitten des Londoner Trubels!
Fresh fruits on the walls, the obligatory avocado on toast with poached eggs and yummy acai bowls that you can fill with all different kinds of super foods. Thumbs up for this Australian place in the heart of London!
